Then I accomplished my goal!
Hmm just look at Eragon or the really terrible Dungeons and Dragons movie[/quote:3862s9gk]
I never saw the D&D movie, but Eragon was a third rate book so there wasn't much for the movie to butcher....hell, I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. Kinda sad really, because I have such a fixation with dragons and that book was such a disappointment.

Why even bother? There would be waaaaaayyyyyyyy toooooo much disapointments. Or on the other hand, anyone can play a little black-skinned elf waving scimitars most of the time. That's an image I have out of reading "about-Drizzt" books. Sorry if hit some soft spots in people (or whatever) but R.A.Salvatore's books are of no worth to me. One book taken out of context is fine to read, but not when you know, that from a certain point nothing changes in the books, and that they are all about the same thing. Just like Paolo Coelho. One book of his is fine to read, and interesting even (at least to some it is) and then, they don't change. Adding a doubtful message conveid by his work, well. I won't say what I had to say.
[quote:zfq4f9hi]They're doing a Forgotten Realms television series though... [/quote:zfq4f9hi]
Blink blink ............ I presume a cartoon?[/quote:zfq4f9hi]
I don't know. It's been ages since I last heard of it and I couldn't find anything recent on it. So for all I know the whole idea has been scrapped. I think the intention was for live-action though. But I'm not certain in the least.
And in a live-action fashion they'd probably do Drizzt as a 3D animated character (similar to Gollum). Or maybe Salvatore will play him himself.
