*wink* You do not understand, Rooky needs to fight most of the time because of real or precieved threats. I have some hope as she gets to know the Dark Maiden better, the need to fight will decrease.

I still don't get theat dogma completly... I'm not all tooth and claw, but I can't seem to find any other way. Every time I tried words I got out with bruises and nasty injuries. With fists I ussually come out with bruises only...

Maybe I'll get it wih time...I am only 14....

so does this mean say a group of bandits march to take over a town of let see... fisher men with the intintion of luting and killing . i should not take emediant action to stop them or go on and risk my life to save many?

The first course of action should be an attempt at diplomacy, whether it be by trying to persuade them it's not a good idea to raid the town, or openly threatening them, trying to intimidate them and make them think it's not a good idea. A quick wit can often end a situation without the need for violence.
If diplomacy fails, and there's no other choice, by all means, defend yourself and others, still with the idea that bloodshed should be kept to a minimum, especially when engaging other Drow.

While the maiden would prefer violence to be avoided, she is not an idiot, and understands that, sometimes, people (or things) cannot be reasoned with.

Damn. So if I find someone preparing a raid on a town, them beeing in a doezen, I'm alone, I should first talk to them instead of a sneak attack, while they're off guard, right?
