That IS the whole idea behind Orcs, Vikings without the trading and exploration.

And as for insanity among a population it seems to have a direct connection to the number of old people in the area, what with the slow driving, stubborn refusal to even attempt to understand anything modern and their pointless whining and moan... and it must be pretty bad on the east coast as it seems like once a week so old biddy with a Brooklyn accent asks me how far west she can drive before she has to worry about being attacked by Indians, at which point I smile and calmly say "Get the **** out of my store."

i remember one of my old dms used t get us all motivated with our gaming chant of "Gonna rape, rob, pillage and burn..gonna rape rob pillage and burn..and eat babies!"Always gotta remember to do it in that order though...

well ive never tried that myself, but im sure it would have something to do with..say..the chimney or a crack in a wall, and that would only be if you were a guy..
