An online buddy of mine mentioned that I might like it on this board, so here I am. It can't hurt to sign up, right?
So the long and short of it is that I'm a DnD nerd with far too many characters who really likes storytelling. Typically I try to get artwork done for my OCs. Such as Mayrae there (and Ember in the corner) in my avatar picture.

Thank you. And I did, yes. Took a photo, cut it up into layers (layer for skin, layer for hair, layer for lips, etc) and then used brightness/contrast and such to make the skin black and hair white and all. Not completely happy with everything, but for someone with no artistic talent I think it's quite good.
