And Austicke (from NWN2Wiki[/url:yogp1jjx]) has been quite busy taking lots and lots of photos from the game and the toolset and placed them all in his personal gallery[/url:yogp1jjx].
A number of them will likely be quite uninteresting to some as he’s taken photos to try and show complete listings of script functions, feats, classes, etc. But a lot of useful information can be gleaned from those and for the rest there’s a lot of quite nice photos (taking into mind that they tend to be quite blurry because he’s photographed a computer monitor).
Of particular interest to us is that he’s also taken a number of photos showing drow characters:

The skin color of the drow in the first shot is a bit too brown for my taste, but the skin color of the drow in the other shots looks quite nice (though I prefer it a bit more black). There should be various skin color choices for drow with various levels of darkness. I wonder if there’s darker skin colors available than shown in those shots.
Another quite interesting shot is this one[/url:yogp1jjx] because is shows a list of drow racial abilities. Particularly the racial spells seem interesting: Darkness, Light and See Invisibility.
Darkness makes sense. Light I’d guess is a replacement for Dancing Lights. Here I’m particularly curious how the spell interacts with darkness and it does seem like a bit much to give light. Finally there’s See Invisibility, which I’m assuming is a replacement for Faerie Fire. Again it depends on how it works, but it seems to be a rather powerful replacement.
Anyway, enjoy the images and I’ll bring you more information as it becomes available over the weekend.
