A bit more calmed, seing that at least someone agreed with her, she stands up from her seat and slowly approaches Tempest. Seing how stressed she looks, she sighs and goes to touch her shoulder. Ibn's face looks more relaxed now. Severe, but comprehensive. She can't stand what the vampire did in the past, but what she thinks about it is what she will say when she starts speaking at the council.
She squeezes Tempest's shoulder slightly and whispers a single word in her ears [i:12vnspfz]"Trust"[/i:12vnspfz], hoping she takes her out of her weeping, and goes to the table where the read and black papers are and picks one of each colour.
"This fangs we have..." she starts speaking while keeping her eyes in the papers in her hands. The red paper in her right hand; the black in her left "... everyone knows are not just for the looks. Blood is an acquired taste for most races. Listening to all this vampire sayed about his evil deeds, I must say it did make my blood burn in my veins, but he claims to have actively seeked for redemption and never found it." she approaches the vampire in trial "Maybe you just didn't look for it in the right place, you know? You have been seeking redemption in the rest of the world, not among the ones you have slain, and you come and ask you to end your suffering. Yes, I am angry, and yes, I think death is an easy way out, because if you wanted so much to die then why didn't you just kill yourself... no, you came here and want extermination from the ones you hurted, but... wouldn't that make us just like you?" Now she speaks to the rest of the council "If we kill this man, then we wouldn't be any better than him. I'm glad that Makasta agrees with me and his idea of a Geas, I think is good... why not a geas that says that he has to serve or even protect Nymaru and Illithyri for the rest of his life, with the prohibition to ever harm any of our race again? even half breeds." She squeezes the red paper inside her right hand and closes her eyes tightly, and without opening them she continues "No, I say death is far too easy. If you really need my opinion I'd say we let him have his redemption, but to seek it between us."
Saying this she drops the black paper back inside the basket and puts the red paper in the table of the council, meaning she doesn't want him to die, but give him a chance.
Then she walks back to Tempest and holds her (if she lets Ibn to hold her, but if not she'll just squeeze her shoulder again). Maybe she'll talk to the vampire later.

OOC: Hmm, with a Geas I think my vampire would just remind everyone too much of Spike from Buffy.
IC: The vampire watches Tempest attempt to speak on his behalf without emotion. It hurt that another member of their race had put their trust in him again. He listens to the other vampire's defence of him and doubt appears in his eyes. He sought death on this island but they seemed intent on trying the impossible and reforming him completely.
When Ibn comes to talk to him he does not reply at first but then he mutters. "I want justice, not respite."

Makasta gets up from his seat, and grabs the red tile placing it on the council table whilst dropping the black tile to the bucket. Looking tyrmer straight in the face says " I remember being someone very much like yourself...an assassin for a royal drow house and one who did not care. When it came down to weather i should be slain or not... i was cursed with a geas of sorts. I had to serve a paladin for 10 years of my life. And when it came all down to it... i am to this day not certain if i am grateful. But one of the most valuable things i learned was that LIFE is not to be given away like a useless toy... Forgive yourself." With that makasta walks away and sits back down.

[color=midnightblue:uamlmmo9]Raven stands from his seat, a grim look on his face as he walks foward to the basket. Looking over to the vampire with no emotion what so ever showing on his face, he reaches down and pulls a tile from it. turning from the vampire he looks to the tile and smiles, noticing that it is red. With a grim nod to the princess he places his tile upon the table and turns to the vampire once again, his eyes unreadable, but his face having a grim smile on it, one that speaks volumes as far as he's concerned.
With the same grim expression on his face he turns to the woman, Tempest that wanted to defend the vampire and gives her a wink, one saying that he thinks the vampire will get his freedom and learn what it is to live as a "human" once again.[/color:uamlmmo9]

"Very well , then, council, you may make your votes. "
The princess says.
The vampire walks up first, taking a red tile and placing it on the table. Then the unicorn, who daintily removes the red tile with her teeth and drops it on the table. Then the glowering elf, who disdainfully places down a black tile. The dragon goes, choosing the red.The demon goes taking out a black tile, chuckling softly at any surprised expression. He places the black tile in his mouth and eats it, then puts a red tile down on the table.Lilith comes up, and looks at the vampire being judged with her ever present sweet and gentle smile, she chooses the red. The angel comes forth, and stares at the vampire for a long while, he looks then at his lover, the ellithyri , Lilith, and then chooses the red tile.
"In an almost unanimous vote, we have the Final Judgement."
Mara turns to look at the nameless vampire,
"You will taken to the temple of Kelemvor, patron God of the nymaru. The god that despises your kind, but has sworn to me that he will be unbiased in your judgement.Once inside Kelemvor's temple you will be taken to The Fugue Plane, and there Kelemvor himself will choose your fate, as he chooses the fate of so many others."

The vampire doesn't gasp (as it is hard to when one cannot breathe) but he arches an eyebrow. "If that is what the council wills." He says stoically. Inside though he is raging, can they nto see ho wmuch destruction he had caused? How many he had slaughtered for his own satiation? They must all be fools to keep him alive. But he had come here to be judged and however flawed that judgment was he would stick to it.

Tempest starts to weep harder, as guards step out and surround the vampire, leading him away.
Mara stands up and removes the mantle , and tiara, and sets them and the scepter down on the throne. She stretches her wings and groans a bit in discomfort.
"Im starving, would everyone like to join me for lunch?"
She looks to Raven Stargazer,
"I know your captain needs to speak to our shipwright about repairs, and I also know that you..."
She motions to Ibn,
"Would like to go and speak with your family. But Ibn, do remember it is not safe for an ellithyri maiden to walk about alone.Perhaps Mr.Stargazer or the Sir Paladin Makasta would like to accompany you?"

Holding her childhood friend even closer, Ibn whispers into her ear "Kelemvore's fair, Tempest. He'll know what's best, just have faith" I smile at her, encouraging her to calm down, and hold her hand. "I haven't forgotten you, my friend, have you? Did you get my letters?"
I wait for Tempest's answer.
When Princess Mara talks about lunch my stomach growls my blue eyes open wide in surprise and shame, and I blush as deeply as my dark face allows me, but I don't give any importance to that and answer what the princess asked me.
"I know, your Highness, and I'd be glad if they wanted to come.I'll need some escort later because I wanted to visit the barracs later. If you like to come and have lunch with my family also it'd be a honour, and if my old childhood friend wants to come too" I pat Tempest's hand and look into her eyes with understanding and friendship, knowing how lonely she might feel right now "she'd be so much welcome... and would be even better, since I haven't seen her in 10 long years. You don't know how I missed talking to you, Tempest." My eyes fill with tears and I blink a few times to not let them fall.

Tempest smiles at Ibn, and blinks through her tears,
"Thank you, Ibn, and yes I got your letters, though I had no return address too send any back..."
She glowers at you a bit,
"Im sorry you guys have to see me like this, I..."
She clutches the glowing pendant around her neck,
"I knew it would happen eventaully, we all expect it, and I thought I wouldn't be such a blubbering mess when it did.. though I scarce expected it to be..well never mind."
Mara says,
"As much as I would like to join the two of you at your parent's house, I still have things to discuss with the council.Blah..boring democratic stuff.Though the balar is actually kinda cute when you get to know him better."
Tempest glowers at Mara now,who laughs,
"You two can join me for lunch here, or head on over to Ibn's whatever you pref..."
She stops short then and looks up to the ceiling, listening to something it seems,
"Actually, Im sorry Tempest, but you have been summoned. You need to get over to the temple now."
Tempest looked concerned, a visit to the Plane of Fugue is few peoples idea of a good time. But she nodded and said to Ibn,
"Im sorry, sweetie, well catch up when I get back. That is if Kelemvore doesnt deem me unworthy and casts me into the depths of oblivion.Ha ha just kidding."
But she doesnt look so jovial as she walks away.
"Im sorry Ibn, i know you wanted to talk to your old friend, but if a God summons, you follow. You still have the option of eating lunch here or heading home..I think Makasta will come with you."

Makasta listens carefully and cautiously to the surrounding conversations. Walks with a near silent grace up to Ibn, smiles slightly saying; "My lady Ibn i'd gladly accompany you were ever you need or desire to go". Looking deeply into Ibn's eyes, gauging to tell if she does in fact wish for me to go with her. ( To DM: Sense motive check ='s 27 )
" I assure you no harm shall come to you, as i am a capable warrior and armed suitably".

Makasta turns to Tyrmer smiles and bows graciously. "Certainly your opinion is yours alone. However, I shall pray to the Goddess for your Fair judgement in the realm of fugue. I can only hope to see you again in due time...Should you return if i am able i would be willing to assist you should desire as such." Smiles, looking tyrmer straight in the eyes completely unafraid or intimidated and turns on his heel and leaves.

"I know, hun. I'm always travelling. I just wanted you to know that I thought of you a lot" I smile at Tempest, encouraging her, still holding her hands and when she talks abou not wanting us to see her this way I answer "We understand. Have faith in the gods. I'm not a follower of Kelemvore as I am of Eilistraee and Mystra, but I'll pray to them to help you in this... Heck! I'll help you myself in whatever I can!, as we always did when we were childs"
Then, grinning and chuckling at princess's Mara statement about the Balor, but a little disappointed that her friend can't join her with lunch, I sigh and squeeze my friend's hand while talking ":/ I'm so sorry. I don't want you to go...
but I'm sure I'll see you later. When the gods summon you'd better answer swiftly" I swallow hard "Tempest, before you leave... I don't care if you're vampire, dragon, celestial, demon or whatever. You're my friend and that's all it matters for me. Just remember that, ok?" I let her go... very difficult to do that, but she has to go, and internally I start a prayer to my two matron godesses, begging to help her, and all the while she goes away I keep my eyes on her
[i:127oahfg]"Please, gedesses, help her... help them both"[/i:127oahfg] I think as I remember I also knew the other vampire, from the ship.
As princess Mara speaks more I answer absently, as if my head was high in the sky "I... yes, thank you, princess. I just hope she'll be fine. I beg Mystra and Eilistraee help her..." my eyes water some and it's obvious I can't go alone to my parent's house. I look at the princess and then at Makasta, my lips shaking "I don't want to be a burden... but I... I don't want to be alone now. My mom... she does a really good cooking..." I trail off and can't finish. I swallow hard again. My hands feel cold and I wipe a tear off my face. "I also don't want my family to see me crying... can I wash my face before I... uh... WE go? I may be a good Wizard, but I don't really feel very mighty right now"

[t:3a4dzvrc]"Tempest and the vampire will be alright, Ibn, believe it or not, Kelemvor is not so bad as most would think.Go on now, with Makasta, and visit your family.Your mother has been coming to me often and asking if I had heard any news of your whereabouts, your father..well your father is your father.Im going to search out the captain now, would you accompany me , Master Stargazer?I can hear the shipwright in the dining hall and I know you are both eager to see to the repairs of the ship."
