Veraka was growing more restless by each passing minute as the three of them traversed their way up the mountain pass. Seeing the ranger bring his bow to bear, an arrow readied in it, the aasimar drew his sword and readied his shield.

Keeping his wits about him, Veraka made his way to Aurora and Zek, saying "alright ranger, now what are you wanting to destroy?"

Hearing him he looked over" Simple, Destroy the thieves guild right to the core. Make the masked ones think a little bit smarter for a change. They'll learn the hard way that they need to anticipate everything. I am not what they're anticipating."

Veraka grinned at the ranger's response; "that makes two of us; I just need a little shove, that's all; ya see, madness, or in my case, pure seething rage, is very much like gravity; all it requires is a little [b:1xju7ogg]push[/b:1xju7ogg]."

Aurora looked a little bemused at the aasimar's analogy; [i:1xju7ogg]well, I could always shove you into an enemy, that should set you off no problem.[/i:1xju7ogg]

"Cute," he grunted in response.

Chuckling slightly" Or send a fey'ri who wants to kill him and tries to seduce him again.. maybe with a little extra touch of fire? Thunder for a shocking time? Oo oo I know... Why not send an orc or half orc woman your way... or if you like opposites... a dwarf woman. What do you think? Maybe ask her to shave a little first? Unless you want something extra to grab onto...." He cleared his throat slightly trying not to laugh, that was hard, keeping the straight face though was easy.

The aasimar gave the ranger a blank stare for a solid half-minute, all the while Aurora was on her side, laughing.

Shaking his head clear of the thought, he replied "well if that's the case, then I'm in for one helluva ride; though if your statement is correct, then the fey'ri coming along and seducing would probably be your best bet; after all, opposites attract, do they not?"

He watched aurora and shook his head, something about seeing a large.. massive wolf on her side laughing was always amusing to watch. Looking to him he shrugged." Yes, but that still includes the dwarf, perhaps one with a beard longer than my hair is long would be good for you too." He mused dryly. Eili was quiet physically but mentally was in stitches.

The aasimar again kept his wits about him; "hmm, with a beard that long, I actually know a dwarf who could use such a mate," he chuckled; "I'm still sticking with the fey'ri, though; after all, with wings, that's an added bonus of privacy," he smirked at Zek.

No, this aasimar wasn't giving up on THIS little conversation. Aurora continued to howl in laughter.

Nodding slightly" Right, lets not forget about tails, redefining the meaning to a more literal sense. Just hope those wings are as velvety and soft as the rumors say. I mean if you want wings, just go find a harpy.. Same feminine shape, just you get wings with feathers. And yes you can use the dwarf's beard to keep em in place. like reigns for a horse... A good pull sorts things out quickly, same thing with the hair." He shrugged some as he started walking again." of course there's some who say a hole's a hole... so whatever floats the boat."

The aasimar smirked again; oh the ranger WAS good, but. . . .
"Well for one, their tails are still part of their spinal column, so that's quite sensitive as it stands, so all the better," he grinned.

"A harpy, possibly, but fey'ri are more, well, to the point,; and as for dwarf. Well with a beard like reigns, I could just toss em on top of you to sort out your own mess."

"Or if that doesn't work, I'll just say that you're the one who has the [b:3d2z19jw]hots[/b:3d2z19jw] for the pyro-nut, and I'm not imagining things when I say that, nor am I an idiot. I know for a fact that she likes you more than a friend, the question is, to what [b:3d2z19jw]degree[/b:3d2z19jw] will both of you take that inferno up to?" His face bore an expression that said 'take that' as he continued walking.

the half elf, sure to stay out of being down wind, stopped in his tracks and heard in the distance...laughing?
an odd sound to hear from the group. and the conversation?
the dwarf shrugged his shoulder confused also. he hadnt seen such a sight.
the ranger motioned for the dwarf to maintain position and wait. of course he wanted to watch the spectacle before him also.
the dwarf didnt hear most of the words themselves or he might woulda done ran after them, axe swinging.

(ok i dont know how to play a dwarf so bear with me)

Upon hearing the ranger, the aasimar raised a silvery brow; "you're serious about that, good," his tone was all serious now. Aurora detected the change in her friends demeanor; [i:2ph8f9tw]just how you can change like the whether itself.[/i:2ph8f9tw]

The aasimar continued alongside the ranger; "if you wish to scorch everything to that degree, good is what I say to you; if you blow Faerun to the Hells and back, well all I can say is that the ride will be most entertaining," he added in his little bit of dry humor, knowing that ranger was dead serious about his feelings for the pyro-nut.

"And ranger, if you go in, just remember, I'll back you up a hundred and ten percent," he said, raising his sword at the ranger in a way that said his exact words; "Zek, you may not be a knight; but I think somewhere beneath that near black facade, there lies a dark guardian, of sorts; one that destroys all in its path to make sure that those whom mean something to you are protected and out of harms way." With that, the aasimar continued onward, right next to his ranger friend, intent on keeping his exact words to the letter.

"maybe yer ready to confront them?" the dwarf asked annoyed and bored, a bad combination.
the half elf gave him a look to answer. he preferred a stealth approach and careful observation and study to know the target or opponent, whichever they may be. he and the dwarf but heads over this many times, and likely still would.
but maintaining position, he 'harrumphed' and crossed his thick arms.

another scout tho was already on the move and a globe of darkness fell over the area.
he would not fail.

Knowing they were in dangerous territory he adjusted his grip on the bow and looked at him then to Aurora." Simple, I just do it." Looking to him finally." Tighten your belt up then. The fun is going to start soon... And stop with the knight bit. I don't do heavy armor, Makes me look fat." He said with deadpan honesty. Looking back ahead he drew the string back, he trusted his feelings of paranoia and he also knew that really? There was no good in these parts, and the way how he saw it everyone they went against was fair game. Pulling the string back fully he took quick aim and released the string launching the arrow. He aimed a little higher to cover the distance, and if it hit one of them it was part luck, part skill, all warning should they be a problem for them.

Veraka gave a low sigh, but it was with a smile; "ah and here I thought that stereotypes were beyond you, Zek; knights don't always were heavy armor. But I digress, I'll just think of you as an inferno archer, it fits you all to well."

Seeing the ranger draw his bow back and aim with it, Veraka smiled, and said "Time for me to use one tactic I'm exceptionally good at."

Aurora looked at the aasimar with a look of pure confusion; then added to Zek [i:2z2jk5ca]If he's about to do what I'm thinking he will, you best have more arrows ready, and please do be as accurate as you were when we were rescuing the D.I.D's.[/i:2z2jk5ca]((Damsels in Distress))

In under a split second, Veraka ran past Zek and Aurora, in the direction that Zek had his bow aimed, skidded to a halt and shouted into the air, "Alright you annoying bastards; you want me, HERE I AM!!"
The aasimar's eyes glowed silver, but were slowly acquiring a deep crimson hue to them, a small sign that he was letting the berserker ebb its way into his consciousness.
