the rogues watched the wolf and big guy get up, missing Zek's trick and the ranger and sorceress' disappearance from view.
they got up from their spot and causually, but quickly, exit the tavern. Inrii pulled her piwafwi close about her and spoke the words that would grant her invisibility. Wrapped in her piwafwi and shod with enchanted elven boots, she had the advantage of invisibility and silence. she followed behind.
the leader, who thought he was smart, smiled as he drew a dagger. the group turned into an alley, "perfect," he thought. he should have guessed it was too perfect.
the tall one sent one to the left, one to the right. one attempted to hide in the shadows and another stayed back.
had it been anyone else, they would have had the advantage. but the rogues were going against powerful enemies.
Inrii kept keenly aware of her surroundings as she closed in from behind. her drow eyes able to see them in the darkness.
she waited for everyone to get into position as she pulled out Serpents sting and aimed the quarrel at the leader.

the others had no time to react as the tall rogue hit the street hard, the poison working quickly as it seeped thru his veins. the others...

Putting up the illusions it took a bit of work but it was quickly in place. Zek used his illusion for two purposes one was to shield his actual location and the other was to cloak his exact location. Using the shadows to better his advantage he moved in and the next thing that was seen was one of the men being slammed against a stone wall and the faint glint of metal being put to his throat. There were a series of hushed whispers followed by a rather familiar smell in the town.. not blood but something else. Zek had definitely scared the man he muttered darkly" Tell me where the back secret entrance to your boss' quarters are. Or help me, the gods will have a hard time re-assembling your body. Where is Alya's boss." he pressed the blade in with one hand as his other was over half the man's face a finger of the glove pressing against the eye. Not exactly the best position for the man to be in.

the rogue's fear was so clear that he also trembled violently. he was chocked up that his voice came out as nothing but high squeeks. the hand caused more panic in the rogue.
he attempted to lift an arm to point but he couldnt control his actions, the spasms in his arm.
"i...i...dddont...knnnnow."

Inrii whipped out a dagger and it flew with amazing precision and accuracy that it just missed a vital artery by a quarter of an inch. the female rogue fell down as her hand reached for the dagger in her shoulder. but the sorceress was on top of her in seconds. Inrii released her invisibility and allowed the female to see her face. her eyes grew large as she now saw the drowess on her. Her Dancing Shiv went to the female's throat, just nicking her and drawing a thing line og blood. Inrii growled an almost animalistic as she demanded the back entrance to Alya and Neriah's place, the Raven's Claw.

Veraka could sense the rogues anticipation; he also heard a number of sounds signifying that his compatriots were doing what they did best.

On the sound of the tall rogue falling face first into the dirt, Inrii's poison dart working its sleepy wonders, Veraka whirled around, bringing his shield to bear on the rogue that was nearly on top of him.
With a sickening 'crunch', the rogue flew a good 7 feet backwards, his nose crumpled into his skull and his lips bleeding profusely at the kinetic impact that the aasimar's shield smash technique. Aurora leaped on top of the downed rogue's chest, baring her teeth to let him, if he did anything stupid, his neck would be her dinner.

Planting his boot into the ground, Veraka lunged forward, his shield still raised in front of him; slamming into the last standing rogue, the charging Veraka barreled him into the brick side of a building with bull-like strength. Gripping the [i:2qszaj68]shabuir[/i:2qszaj68] by the neck, the storm warrior hoisted him off the ground a good four feet and asked in a low, but very threatening growl, "Where are they?" His eyes glowed as he asked his question.

The finger pressed against the eye a bit more and the blade shifted only slightly causing a pindrop of blood to slowly move out of the wound." Tell me, I know they train you not to break so easily." The finger pressed in more on the border of rupturing the soft tissue beneath the eyelids. He spoke drow darkly to the man' Where, before I drag you below as a sacrifice. Remember... no one will come to help you when you scream... no one will miss you."

the rogue beneath Aurora said little. but the pain from attack and the blood pouring from him made the rogue think less clear. he scrimed and wriggled beneath her weight. "nnniiiice doggy."
"Oh please dont kill me! i have a family, kids to care for!" the one beneath Veraka begged, weeping like a scared little girl. "please, i only resently joined I know nothing i swear on my daughters life!"

the rogue screamed as the finger dug into his eye further. she knew the tongue suddenly spoken and he didnt need to translate it to know the elf on him was drow. all he could think was that he made Alya or Neriah ticked and they sent these, assassins. now he was truly afraid. the stories he heard was no doubt true. "its some warehouse. oposite side city of the Raven's Claw."

(i wanted a small battle scene for me. plus, they a bit experienced fighters...so yall can fight them if you want, feel free to take over you hostage)

the human female remained silent as she heard her weak companions give in so easy. no wonder the bosses sent a drow after them. had she not been scared for her own life she would have killed them herself. the female gritted her teeth. she was an assassin, and a heavy fighter and the weight of the drow on her was nothing compare to her. she would get seriously injured, but she would take her down with her. the rogue maneuvered to toss Inrii's light weight slightly to the side to push her off. the Dancing Shiv cutting a deep gash down her neck. the human managed to get up quickly as blood poured from the gash and the dagger in her shoulder. she pulled it from her shoulder and got into position.
Inrii, a wicked smile on her face, drew another dagger.
"lets dance then."
In came the rogue in a furious whirl, daggers dipping and diving, slicing at every angle. but the human's dexterity was no match for the the drow's own. Inrii responded in an indistinguishable blur. whirling blades crossed in a defensive parry from both. both twirled and slashed, as the drowess danced and thrust. the rogue was slowing, as Inrii was just getting going. she made a mistake and the keen elven blade slashed through sinew and bone and neatly severed the rogues hand. the dagger clanking to the street. Inrii's hand began the spell an a fireball shot forth at her.

He spoke again" Which warehouse." He pressed the finger in a bit more the pressure unbearable that the tissue was starting to give. He had no qualms of using whatever techniques available to get the answer he wanted. Whether he let them live or not who knew.. but he knew one thing, the person would never be able to point them out.

Veraka held the man up high for a while, gazing over his being with his keen vision; he detected no aura of pure evil, but this man was definitely no good-aligned being, so he asked another pointed question.
"You have kids and a family, huh? Well, then let's both hope that you're not LYING to me for their sake. I'm sure that your daughter would be most sad if she had to see her father in this state." The aasimar hated using that type of threat on any person, but it would prove the most useful, as to tell if he's lying or not; people's aura's change depending on whether or not truth or lye is said from their mouth; though only momentary at that. Veraka would be able to pick up the subtle change.

Aurora was content to continue to growl and bare her readied fangs should the dazed rogue underneath her weight do something stupid; though, for the moment, the great winter wolf had his arms pinned down.

the fireball hit the rogue and she screamed as the flames licked her skin. of course Inrii then remembered that she wasnt being so discrete and cast an ice storm to put it out. but not before the woman was mostly charcoal.

the rogue, now screaming in pain from the loss of his eye. was able to barely say anything. "the only one that side of the town." he was close to passing out by now.

the rogue wasnt lying nor telling the truth. he still scrimed beneath Veraka. he had kids, but where they were now, who knew. his famly was last scene out in the farms surrounding the town. originally he came to dagger falls for a better life, but got caught up in the guild.

a few other city rogues had gathered at the end. but they knew better than to mess with guild business. for the Raven's Claw had control of half the city so to speak.

Veraka saw from the man's statements that he was telling the truth, partially albeit.
"Leave this place; go out, find your family, and you live, understood?" he growled, "and if you're worried about Anya hunting you down, trust me when I say that she has bigger problems to worry about."

the rogue looked confused at first after the warrior let him go. she stumbled near Aurora she was still on top of one.
then he hauled tail.

Inrii made her way to the leader who was beginning to stir. she yanked the quarrel out, the only one that didnt burn a hole in its victim. She kicked the male as he groggily groaned and reached for the spot on his neck.
then waves of nausea hit him. he trembled and shook as the second poison began working. Inrii's smile was cold. she didnt often make poison, but she did use this concoction perodically. she kicked the male as she leaned to throw up his meal.
it was then he caught sight of what was going on, the smell of burnt flesh and the sight of the drowess looming over him like a omen of doom.

Easing the pressure on the eye he nodded" Good. You've served your purpose." He sheathed the blade but what followed was perhaps far more sickening than what he had done before. There was a severe loud crack sound. He snapped the head hard to the side, breaking the neck and severing the spine all in the instant that the neck was broke. Looting the body he let it fall to the ground and walked away watching the scene." When we're done here lets visit the warehouse."

Veraka came over after he let the scared rogue down, and saw him bolt; "hopefully the sha'buir will tuck tail and run." Aurora still on the stunned rogue, looked over to Veraka. The aasimar strode over to her, grabbed stunned one by the collar, and dragged him over to Zek's position; throwing him on the ground face first, the storm warrior nodded to Aurora, whom then sat on the rogue, keeping him down.

Seeing Inrii working her deathly skills on yet another one of the, he walked over to her; looking over the person in front of him with his celestial vision, Veraka noticed how his aura was. . .

Inrii looked at the pitiful human now. his fear obvious as he continued to throw up. soon it was just dry heaves. the poison began working its way out of his system when Zek announced he got an answer. she noticed in her peripheral Veraka near but focused on the human male before her. he saw something she didnt , but she didnt care,
something about this male reminded her of Vorndrin. something in her changed for the moment.
he attempted to draw a weapon as he crawled on his hands and knees to get away. "please..." he begged.
her daggers still drawn, she finally drew the blade across his throat and shoved his head down. he laid their as his blood pooled around him. the last breaths as gurgles. Inrii watched the life leave his eyes. she vicariously repaid them back. she might have killed 2 of the 4, but she would never be rid of them. they continued to haunt her still.
She snapped herself back to reality and sheathed her daggers into their hiding spots.
"we better take a different way," Inrii said pointing to the small crowd of rogues at the end.

Watching the scene finish out he nodded slowly to her and then nodded and motioned" long way around.. away from them, we'll come in from the back of the warehouse." he looked to the small crowd and just shook his head looking back to her.
