He moved down to the water and looked around before kneeling down near the edge. removing the couple skins he had he removed the caps and put the sacks in the water filling them. His feline familiar decided to come down from its lofty perch on his shoulder to have a drink. As he held both bags down with one hand, his other was on one of his daggers looking around every now and then before looking back to the water. Pulling the bags up his familiar followed and resumed its place on his shoulder. Capping the sacks up he put them back on his belt. he'd move from the edge a little and looked around thinking for a moment before watching the group, and their surroundings.

"If I truly desired some female presence, I'd go to a tavern, but frankly those don't appeal to me that much, so you'll have to do." He said with a wry smile, noting how she took time grabbing his waterskins; "If you are that intent on seeing every piece of my armory, then you might as well just ask me." he said as Zazzt and Zekafae came close to the water, as if scanning for more of those monstrous fish.

Zarstra dropped to the ground and lapped up some water. She even caught a minnow.
Inrii filled the waterskins up and let everyone finish.
"here, they're full," as readied them to be tossed.

"Small shiny objects, huh. How about this type of shiny?" he said as he whipped out one of his two diamond edged and tipped tanto knives.
"Catch." was all he said as he flipped the knife over in his hand, blade in palm, and tossed it at Inri.

Inrii skillfully caught the knife. For she had trained in throwing knives.
"nice," she said as she inspected it, feeling its balance and how it fit into her hand. Her daggers, hidden all among herself, were of nice quality, especially her Dancing Shiv.
"I supose you want it back then?" she joked.

Watching the blade transfer he spoke" nice blades." he had blades, some were easy to see others not so much, cause he had them all black to match the leather's luster.

(( I've yet to play DA:O, I have a bunch of games I need to start playing))

Zazzt looked at the theatrics with a mildly interested expression on his face, "A blade that can be caught, is not a useful one. Unless it is caught with the body, and not the hand." His fingers danced through a short sequence of signs, and a gust of wind blew out of his hands, shredding the nearest tree to bits. "Try catching that one, Inrii." He said with a wink.

"Thanks." Veraka said, acknowledging Zekagae's comment. Turning to regard Inri, he said "Your welcome to keep it if you like; it wouldn't be the first knife like that that I've lost or had stolen." Pulling his sword out of the water and catching his skins that Inri had tossed to him, he turned around and put the skins onto his pack.

Watching the displays he just shook his head slowly" Keep your energy reserves at max, you don't know when you'll encounter something. Such displays can draw attention, others it shows what you can do, and in that show weaknesses. Bragging and showing off, only leads to a more bloody demise, and I don't like cleaning blood off of my leathers, unless it's from my prey. I will show my skills when the time is right." He just smiled having a feeling, he'd have to show off his skills in the near future.

Veraka cocked an eyebrow in the direction of Zekafae and Zazzt. A feeling of irritation crept over Veraka. Though he hated to admit it, both of them were right and that both the ranger and the monk spoke the truth that had come from years, even decades of experience that Veraka had yet to acquire.
"Fair enough," said Veraka "but do keep in mind that one who assumes to know his enemy already puts himself at a disadvantage." The statement was directed more towards Zekafae than Zazzt.
"Appearances can be deceiving."

He nodded" I do keep it in mind, which is why, I study my target first extensively before making the move. I always work to know more about my target before striking. So no errors of judgement are made, especially if that target is an ally or innocent party."

Inrii watched the display and debate among the males and smiled, trying to keep from laughing out load.
'just like home' she thought, 'no matter race or credo.'
She started walking twords the trail, Zarstra on her shoulder watching her back. Should the boys want to follow, they could. otherwise, they could stay behind and continue to compete.
The area of wild magic had changed again and it was storming inside the area. She wondered how many of those they would see till they exited this area. but it was a nice day; the sun was warm and it was a clear sky. a small flock flew over. as she passed the spot that use to hold the tree she noticed on the ground a dead squirrel laid.
'such a waste of food...'

Veraka nodded his accordance to Zekafae. The young aasimar still had much to learn in his years ahead of him.
"Thank you, Zekafae. Perhaps in traveling in you, I can learn much of the patience that has lost its place among my mind." Veraka said as he bowed to Zakefae.
Noticing that Inri had started up the trail that she'd indicated earlier, he spoke up "What, you gonna wonder off all by yourself; and leave us with no fun. That's not fair."

Live a couple hundred years, it'll come around.. or a few thousand.. which ever the time period takes. No preference really." Inrii thought it ironic she got away with such talk. most her peers werent fond of witty humor, despite everyone being young. She use to think it was an age thing. 'get old, get grumpy.' maybe it was a male thing? now she started to wonder if it was a drow thing? but
she was having fun with this group. more fun than she had in a long while.

now they had to get thru the farming communities...
