"well, now that is all settled, we will want to start walking. Once we clear the forest, I suggest all drows disguise themselves. My House, well, has caused a big issue among the farms. They dont take well to raids. Tho I thought Terizk was an idiot to attack them; not really worth it. but who'd listen to me? Since we're here at Araba, we take that trail," she pointed to the northwest one.
"we can get some mounts and ride the 2 days to Daggerfall and find Alya. There she will hopefully point us where we wanna go."

Zazzt nodded, "Aye, that would be wise, lead on." This was more to the assassin, and with a grand sweep of his arm, Zazzt beakoned the rest of his compainons to lead the way.

Nodding in agreement with Inrii's suggestion, Veraka drew his sword and gestured with his shield arm to himself and Aurora, saying "I'll take point, if no one has any qualms with that. One has a tendency to make commoners back off with a winter wolf at their side; especially when the winter wolf doesn't go automatically for the kill."
Aurora's face seemed to light up and what seemed like smile came to pass over her face.

I was his apprentice briefly and should return to studying the arcane." He nodded to Veraka as he continued." As for lessons? I do have one, that I can impart to any apprentice. It is a simple lesson, but has helped me gain a lot of favor in human communities."

He smiled" And You're right, I don't fit in with the category, because that part of my life is past. I just apply the skills to what i do now. Veraka took the vanguard position as their apparent new-found group took off toward their destination. Veraka felt sorry for their drow ranger friend, for he knew all to well what it felt like to be cast out, because one found something unjust about the place that they lived in.
"Your skills as a ranger would be a warm welcome; I would feel much safer knowing that my back is covered by one such as yourself." Veraka said, casting a friendly gaze Zekafae's direction; Aurora did the same thing.
"If it helps in any way, my friend Aurora believes you to do have a honorable sense of judgment," he said.

Nodding as he finally took the bow off of his back he let his fingers move over the sinew of the string and smiled back." Between everyone, we have a good party formed." He knew that with Veraka at the front and he close by, the short and long range were covered quite well. " I plan on expanding my skills well past what I have been trained in already. I see no reason to truly limit myself to one or two fields"

Zazzt shrugged, "Aye, that philosophy is sound. The more things you practice, the more options you have in battle. However, you will find that if you do not specialize, you will find yourself outmatched. A master with a stone can defeat a novice with a sword. In fact, that sword will usually end up killing the novice."

Uncle Jezz keeps them around for good reasons," she winked. "If any need water now's a good time. Just watch for things with teeth in it."
She rubbed the lizards throat. Inrii figured they wouldnt be foolish as to go into the river.

Veraka nodded in agreement with Inri's suggestion, as he and Aurora had traveled more than 40 miles in under 40 hours. Aurora went up to the riverbank, and started to lap up the fresh, cool liquid with her tongue. No sooner had she started than a very large piranha like creature came up and snapped at her. Veraka calmly walked up to the over-sized fish and slammed his sword into its head, effectively killing it. Then his uttering a chant, summoned forth his lion telthor and used it to heat the surrounding water to a very unpleasant temperature for a fish.
Aurora continued to drink from the river, this time unhindered by any fish.
"If any of you want to stock up on water, now you can from anywhere within ten feet of where my sword," he gestured toward Aurora, "just make it quick. I can't keep this up for more than a few minutes. Inri, could you refill my waterskins?" He asked, indicating the two large skins hanging down his pack.

She watched to see if any carp, walleye or bullhead would show up. one did and was consequencly killed.
When he called her to help she gave him a puzzled look of why he called her. 'it better not be cause I'm female...'
Playing along, plus a chance to snoop out his stuff she walked down to the water, keeping an eye out for ambushes or funny stuff.
