A Hag's Last Pot

The bard grunts as some ofthe red shards hit him, but doesn't stop, instead following like a cyclone of flesh and metal in Dorl's wake, dancing around the lizard's side to cut across the startled faces of two more of the hideous females. A third manages to hit him with some sort of force- one of the Bigby's Hand spells, he notes in passing- before he slices through her twice with his blades, leaving the hag in several pieces on the cavern floor. And the song goes on.

The large drow bashed his shield edge on into the side of a hag head and the top of her head was suddenly missing. He then kicked Swift Justice into a trot into the cave.

Once he entered the cave Dorl'veszaun was assailed from all sides by lightning, fire, and ice. He was knocked off of his mount and struggled to stand back up.

Gareth rushed to the enterance of the cave but did not enter.

"Stop running into traps!"

Gareth shouted from the enterance while waiting for the rest of the group.

Dorl'veszaun growled and suddenly stood straight, picked up his spear and proceeded to brutalize all enemies in sight, Bashing them even after they were dead.

Gareth started to shoot arrows into the cave, some hitting and sending blood spraying out in other directions, and some ripping skin and limbs off and out of their sockets.

"Do you see anymore traps to run though for us?" Gareth said with a smirk.

Dorl'veszaun remembered himself and withdrew to the door, blocking all the hags and their minions inside with his shield as Gareth shot over the shield and the drow thrust over it.

you know, I don't think anyone mentioned how wide or tall the entrance was.... Maybe it's a small cave?

IC: Lothir glances over at the paladin in shock as he sees him blasted by the traps, then get up and keep bashing at the hags and their minions. <Now that's a fellow who doesn't know when to give up...> he notes with awe. Then a stray bolt grazes him, nearly spinning him around and knocking him off his feet. He begins to wonder if Gareth migh have a point about blundering into traps.

He continues his battle-song, nimbly slicing and skewering anything that comes within reach that isn't one of his companions. A quick arial spin-kick followed by a double slash takes the arms off one hag, and he lands, pivots, and reverses direction to neatly disembowel the creature that has slipped up behind him, hoping to take him and Dorl out of the fight.

A ray from one of them strikes him, but he steels himself, and lets his natural resistance take most of the weakening aura. He spots the hag who fired it at him, and with a bounding leap and duck, he thrusts upward to bury both blades into her gut before slicing up. He starts panting slightly, the battledance beginning to take its toll, as he wonders if they will ever defeat all of the evil creatures....

(We all know what they say about big men with big swords.... It's why Lothir just uses two smaller ones, lol!) But, ANNYYWAAYY- where were we? Oh, right- killing hags!

The bard doesn't even bother to answer, he's too busy slashing his way through the ranks of hags and other evil creatures with a song on his lips and wild joy in his eyes.

OOC: Dorl, I noticed earlier you said "gentlemen"- I'm playing a male, but I'm actually a girl!! (Yes, I know that's weird, but I enjoy playing both genders in-game- I also have several other characters I play frequently, both male and female.)
