The Half Moon Inn and Festhall

She rose as the other conjured her disc to take him inside, she frowned as he struggled to speak before loosing conciousness. That was not good.
She placed a soft hand on the other womans shoulder, her voice came soft as she spoke it was simple "Bel'la dos"
It was all she said, her voice was almsot reverant with thanks, she followed the other inside. She paused to talk to the inn keeper for the briefest of moments.
It was a hushed conversation inwhich involved a direction to a room they would take him to. She moved back over to the other drow indicating for her to follow with him, leading to the room they could lay him in.
She wouldnt insult the other womans intelligence by telling her to set him on the bed, she instead moved to the side of the room and filled the large bowl there with clean water before moving it to the bed side table.
She looked to the other and with a slight flush of her delicate features which was hard to see with her skin tone.
"We need to...remove his armor" she said softly looking at the armor like it was some forign device, she herself didnt wear much in the way of armor, definatly nothing as big or heavy as the plate this man was wearing. She wasn't sure how to get it off of him, it wasn't usually what fell to her to do.

Zazzt nodded, "If you feel yourself tiring, tell me, and I can assist you with bearing the load." Then he snapped his fingers, and turned to Myna, "Actually, there is another way for me to assist you... however it would leaved you with a dead body... namely mine."

"Dos ph' al'doer dalninil," replied T'risstree with a soft smile.
The disk was guided into the Inn without incident and thankfully, she thought at least, Talwyn has passed out.
Following Myna, she guided the disk to the room, moving it deftly over a bed. She was about to lower him when Myna said,
[i:nojbr31s]"We need to...remove his armor."[/i:nojbr31s]
"I understand sister. It might be easier if we remove his armour while he is still on the disk. The disk will stay where it so we can work together,"[/color:nojbr31s] she replied as she looked closely at the ornate plate armours fixings and buckles.
She looked back over to Zazzt.
"While you have been helpful, I think it might be best if you [b:nojbr31s]please[/b:nojbr31s] wait outside while we remove his armour. We don't want to risk any...infections..."[/color:nojbr31s] she said looking at the rot and corruption in Zazzts body with barely controled distaste.

Zazzt realized the meaning behind her gaze, and opened his mouth to argue, but bowed, and with a wave of his hand, a black obsidian ring appeared on the table, "Very well, but remember my offer." He then turned, and walked out of the door. Scrap flew off his shoulder, and perched far away from the injured human as he could, while still seeing him.

She rose an eyebrow at the exchange between the two, there was alot of antimosity there. It stiked her as curious but her focus was the fallen paladin not the relationship between those two. She would have to make a point to learn more about the other man though.
She nodded to T'risstree and moved over to the bedside, with the aid of the other she helped figure out how to take off his armor, okay mostly it was T'risstree that did most of the work on that one. She was hilariously knowledgable in some areas and hopelessly ignorant in others. Anything more complicated than a chain shirt had her stumped and strugglign to figure out.
But all was said and done the armor did come off, that was a good sign, she placed it against the wall near the foot of the bed, where he would be able to retirieve it again when he was feeling better.

T'risstree sigh quietly in relief as Zazzt left the room.
She made sure the door was shut after he left.
She eyed the onyx ring he'd left on the table and thought better not to touch it all. Instead she threw a silk handkerchief over it, covering it completely.
Turning back, she rolled up her sleeves and went to wash her arms and hands, drawing a little water from the basin but she didn't put her hands into the clean water. She dried herself quickly and turned to Talwyn and then set to removing the armour which Myna stacked against the wall.
It was quite easy, just some simple buckles and fixings that came free with gentle tugging that let her remove the major pieces. Very soon, all of his armour was off although the mail shirt was the most difficult item to take off as she had to roll him onto his side to undo the buckles at the back of the shirt then lift it over his burnt arms. She winced as some of his skin came away with the mail causing fresh bleeding.
The plate had done a remarkable job in protecting him she thought as she examined it briefly, sensing the magic held within the metal.

Scrap shook his head, "That ring might end up saving Talwyn's life." His eyes twinkled, "Why do you mistrust me so, Lady?"

She sighed and supressing a bitter chuckle she unhinged her cloak and tossed it to the side, leaving her arms bare to work she dug through her belongings until she pulled free a few herbs.
"All we can really do at this point is clean and dress his wounds and allow him to heal. I know a few things though and I am going to make a salve to spead over the burns. It will deaden the pain and allow him to rest comfortabily. I'll have to go hunt for some more of the herbs as he will undoubtedly need this for awhile."
She pulled per motor and pestel out and started to grind a series of herbs together, grinding them into a paste inside the carved stone bowl she held in her hand.
As she did so she looked over to the bird, she rose an eyebrow and shook her head before speaking.
"And what does that ring do?"

IC:
The Plate had shielded him from being totally incinerated but it's enchantment was not strong enough to prevent his death.
The two women had removed Talwyn's armour, exposing his body which was suffering from third degree burns over 60% of his body, the other portion were second to first degree burns.
His the badly affected areas were a mess of raw burnt flesh. The areas that wasn't bandaged, the raw skin weeped a clear fluid. The areas that were as badly burned were his lower body, legs and feet as the Flame Strike had come from above. His head, neck, chest, arms and back had taken the burnt of the heat.

"It transfers his wounds onto the wearer, if you say the right word." Scrap smiled, a truely interesting sight, a hawk smiling, "Which of course only I know. And in any case, I do not think your 'sister' over there would mind if my 'diseased' body keeled over and died."

She shook her head "That will not be necissary, his wounds will not take his life, he will be in a fair amount of pain which I will do what I can to ease but I do not fear for his life"
She meant it, but she frowned at his wounds and she nodded to T'risstree as she moved over abandoning her mixing as she examined the wounds.
She rummaged through her belongings again and retrieved a couple strips of cloth which served as fresh rags, she had not used them yet and they would work well for this. They would need to throughly clean him and thankfully he was unconcious, because she was sure if his mind had been able to handle it to keep awake it would only make this more painful for everyone.
"We need to clean away as much as we can, then I will finish the salve, it will need to be applied to every surface of his burns, then we can wrap them. After that its a waiting game, and just wait for him to rest enough to regain conciousness."

"Only if you dug your own grave first. Then I wouldn't mind at all" [/color:3vy64lbn]T'risstree smiled sweetly at the bird as she looked up from her efforts at making bandages. She continued,
"Besides, we only have your word it is what you say it is. For all we know it may be a way for you to steal his life force to enchance your own. You ask why I do not trust you? Have you forgotten the lesson of our people underground? Trust is for the foolish who will soon be dead. However since coming to the surface I have learned that trust, like money, is earned and not handed out like free bread to complete strangers. That you have aided the paladin is a good start but only that...a start. Much more needs to be done and time will tell if you are truly worthy of at least MY full trust. I do not presume to speak for any one else."[/color:3vy64lbn]
She rolled the linen bandage strips carefully as she spoke, placing then next to the bed ready to be coated in Myna's salve.

Scrap nodded again, "Did not your time underground not teach you not to trust appearances, daughter of the Underdark? Especially where mages are concerned." To prove his point Scrap shimmered, and Zazzt stood in the room, as he looked like before his spar with Gareth, body whole, hair clean and no blemishes on his skin. The next instant, he turned into Rogar, and after that into what Zazzt looked like now, "Tell me, which one is the real me?"

She went back to her salve once she had done as much as she could, much of the dead tissue had been cleared away and while the bleeding had slowed it had not stopped, she finished the salve in a few moments, she removed the bandages from earlier, tossing them to the side she recleaned those injuries aswell.
She then started to systematically apply the salve, thicker in areas which where burned worse.
"Please my sister, apply the bandages as soon as I finish the area with the salve. it will staunch the bleeding for a time but they need to be bandaged quickly to maximize its effectiveness" she explained to her, in that soft voice of hers.
She didnt really look to see if T'risstree had listened to her, she assumed she did, their purpose was the same, there would be no reason for her to do anything else.
So she continued going down his body, using the cloth to brush away the blood and infectious tissue and then applying the salve overtop. And soon to be bandaged in so it could sink in and dull away every trance of pain. He would have a hard time moving but the pain would ease away into numbness. It was the best she could do and she knew it.
When it was done she cleaned the Motar and Pestle and put it back into its spot and moved to clean up, dumping out the now red and dirtied water, replacing it with clean water after washing her hands. She set the water by the bed again incase it was needed.

Scrap looked at Myna's salve doubtfully, "Does that, once applied once, need another application?"
