As Quin saw Malek attacking the drow who have stabbed her she almost smiled till she noticed the pain he must have been in... This angered her as her eyes turned from blue flames to the color of the fires of hell themselves. This was part of her father who she missed so very much which pumps through her blood. She saw a drow come from be hind Malek and he could never have the time to turn and defend himself. She jumped and landed right behind him as she roared her furry upon the drow, then she bite off his head.
Quin looked to Malek till she turned her head in to the distance... it was the army she had dreaded, Malek could not endure no more pain nor could she... She laid down and said to him.. "Get on! We need to flee..." She was cut off by a warrior who landed on her back from the trees. Lucky for her he did not have the grip as she flung him off and found the magic with in her as she said... "Chath illyiff d'xukuth!" A beam of flames came from deep with in her and out her mouth and took out several of the warriors....

"oh boy finally a fight" *activates moonblade enchantment and charges into the midst of the fray* "and take that" *lops the head of a drow warrior then charges after a spellcaster intent on killing him* "ATTACK" *gets stabbed by a rapier* "oh... ouch..." *falls over with a pool of blood forming underneath him* "well this really sucks. oh well you win some you loose some." *smiles wickedly as the blood stops leaving his body* "about time that kicked in!" *stands up and blasts the drow that stabbed him with a chain missle spell which then richochet's between that warrior the spellcasting drow and another warrior tearing them apart* (ten missles 1d4+1 damage apiece and each missle bounces to ten other targets) "thats better now where is quin" *look's around ocassionaly activating the moonblade and charging into the fray killing drow as he goes*
OOC: I was going to wait for Ix to post, but it looks like that isn't happening.

He quickly deduced the direction of the palace. Seeing as there were very few enemies that way, he spun towards the area with the highest concentration of drow, and let loose the full potential of Snow Leopard. A 30 ft cone of ice cold spread out from the blade. Picking up Quin, he activated his Dragonscale cloak. Black dragon wings shot forth as he yelled, "Nathan. Get back to the palace at all costs. I need you alive if we are to survive the coming siege." With that he flew off towards his home, bearing his beloved Quin in his arms.

*look up at malek and puts a malicous smile on* MUAHAHAHAHAHA (the drow draw back a bit...OOC: drow draw...am i the only one who notices the irony) IC: "fine malek" *looks back at the drow gathered around him and says* "usstan tlun taudl jhal usstan z'klaen alu nin, jhal p'los usstan xun, usstan inbal natha stath parting gifts." *I am sorry but I must go now, but before I do, I have a few parting gifts.*
with that nathan draws out a wand and breaks it over his knee then shoots a chain missle spell and hurredly (spell check please) casts a dimension door spell taking him away before...BOOOOOOOOOOOM! the wand exploded annihalating (another spell check please) a good 100ft radius around it.

Quin broke free of his grasp and as she landed she sent a blast of air towards him... not to harm but to send him closer to the palace. She was starting to lose herself again.. this feeling was the same as when she attacked her father. She remembers as if it was only yesterday. She did not want to harm anyone she cared for again.
But she does know she will not survive this time. Her destiny is clear, but he will be saved..... She has to save him and her friends. 'I am sorry Malek, but this is personal.' she sent through the wind as she took out a line of drow with a spell she had learned from her mother. Quin had recognized the drow, they were from her fathers clan, and she had pay back. As she was losing herself to the power of the Gods, she focused on them and only them. She thought just maybe she can use it for the better and not one of her loved ones would be harmed in the process.
Before this power could consume her completely, she sent on on last message. 'Send Lightning to that city, Malek, he is fast and true. But I will be lost very shortly after I send this message. What ever you do, don't come till you hear a wolf howl, as a lone wolf howls to the moon. I do not know if I will live but you can live on and bring greatness to this kingdom and I will ever so be with you in spirit.'

OOC: Sorry, ended up spending the holidays at my parents'... I see them less than a dozen times a year, and... well, long story short, last minute planning enabled me to spend xmas with them. Only downside was that i didn't have the time to properly [i:txv3v9cn]mention[/i:txv3v9cn] i was going away, but i guess you kind of figured that out already.

Maya looked at the combat, having edged back into a hiding place almost as soon as the fighting began. As Quin was lost in herself she was tearing up the army of drow. Taking them by their heads, snapping their necks, and throwing them twenty to thirty feet out. In a short distance she saw a body laying unconscious and another drow going to inspect it. Quin saw him raise his weapon to the body, her eyes looked over it and a pain hit her hard in the chest as she howled in pain.
After the pain subsided she and she was starting to see clear again. She remembered who she was and who that little drow was... Maya!! Quin growled and pushed her way to the attacking drow and bit his head off before he could do the death blow to Maya. Quin felt her with her nose and noticed she was still alive. She picked Maya up in her mouth as she looked to the army that had surrounded her and her friend. She knew Maya would need medical help so home she headed with her friend safe.
Quin spread her wings and with a few flaps was in the air safe from harm, or so she thought. Hundreds of arrows flying in the air, so Quin called the power of wind to blow them away as she flew out of range. She was getting weak, she needed sleep. It has been a few days with none. Quin prayed when she got back she could sleep, she knew the drow would be doing the same so they can recap from the destruction she had made.
Seeing the palace not too far away, Quin smiled for she knew Malek would be pleased to see her as she would be as well. Once she came to the wall and landed she collaped as she put Maya safely down. "She needs medical attention now! I think she had hit her head for that is where the blood is coming from. As for me, all I need is sleep. They are regrouping and they will not attack for bout 8hrs or so. That is what I heard before I left. So you all better prepare, I am going to find a place to sleep. I think by the wall so I can hear if anyone comes."

As Quin sleeps, she hears what is going on around her. The voice of Malek rings loud and clear in her ears, but she is unable to move. Then she heard Nathan give out the message and ask if Maya is ok.
She started to dream where there was no war, no blood, and her parents whom she loved so much were still alive. There was no hate, no pain, and no suffering.
Quin was in her woods near her home dancing in the night under the full moon and praying to the Goddess herself. The light of the moon shined upon her pale ebony skin and her hair glowed like the moon. She had her eyes closed as if guided by someone with a smile that was pure as she was with in herself.
The moon brightened and a beam of light touched Quin on her forehead. She stopped dancing and opened her bright lavender eyes to look at the Goddess who now stands before her. Quin kneels before her as she wanted to show the Goddess the respect of the children have for her.
Eilistraee reaches down and pulls Quin to her feet, "Child, why do you kneel for you do not worship me?"
Quin replies, "I do not know who you may be, but it don't mean I will not respect you in the same m'lady." as she bows her head and looks to the ground as not to be disrespectful.
A smile came to the Goddess's face as she said, "You have a gift child you must use your powers and use them well. I have been watching you with all my heart. No harm will come to you this day for you will be victorious. Your handling this power with out greed for wanting more than you already have. But... You need to trust your friends and loved one if you wish to survive.
Before Quin could reply to the Goddess's last statement, she had faded and gone back to her place. Quin falls back and lands on her rump, in total shock. She was right she thought to herself. Quin always knew deep with in herself that the Goddess was using her to stop war.
Then things got a little fuzzy as she can hear what is going around her and her friends... she still is asleep as she starts to glow as the power starts to heal her and her friends around her sleeping body.

*sigh* it may not be a good idea to be out here when the drow arrive *sigh* i need a break *casts unseen servant and orders it to take malek and quin inside while (nathan mind you) he picks up maya to carry her in* "Melari would you shut the door when all of us are inside... that includes you and Athariel

I am officially resurrecting this thread. Maya shall remain unconcsious until she posts next (as per her request). As thread creator I use my awesome powers of awesomness and make Nathan leave her in one of the guest rooms and create a ward on the door. Nathan let me know if you have a problem with that.

Melari follows the unseen servant, fretting over Malek.
Athariel, agreeing with Nathan, closes the front doors, and locks them. Using the magic cast on him by Nathan, he sends a message to his uncle, Malek's and Melari's father, the King of Elwesoron. "Most noble King Raelion, it is I, your nephew Athariel. I am in the ancient forest of our people, with your son and daughter, Malek and Melari. We have reclaimed the palace and forest for our clan, and Malek hs teken his place as Lord of the Forest. However, unforseen events have caused the drow to attack. We believe that there is an army that wants to capture something here. On, Malek's behalf, for he has fallen, I beg that you muster the clan and aid us in our battle for the glory of Clan Elwesoron." Athariel hopes that that will work. In the meantime, he goes to find Nathan. With Quin and Malek unable to fight, and the drow still in the wine cellar, he would need Nathan's help.

Her eyes open to the light of the moon and sparkle like stars. Quin looks around from where she lays and notices she is still a giant wolf, she growls as she stands.
She looks around and sees some damage she has made, she scowls at her self for being so clumsy.. She is not used to being so.. um.. large. Quin now sees she can not fit in palace and hopes all is fine inside.
