I think a more apt analogy is...

Picture yourself standing in front of a building. Above the front door is written in huge, clearly legible letters: "House of Hugging". Picture yourself walking into that house. I'd say it'd be only fair to expect to be hugged when inside.

The same, I feel, with this thread (and those like it)... if you post in it then you can expect your character to be virtually hugged. The only difficulty might be getting out again.

I also have the impression that some people like to 'protest' to hugging and such, but secretly enjoying the attention or whatever. But if someone feels slighted or is getting sick of jibes made towards them then they can send me a PM or such and we'll make sure to put a stop to it. Until I hear a complaint I can only assume that people are happy the way things are.

Now, after all that stuffy seriousness... who wants a hug.
