I'm not being aggressive... Just returning his hug, 's all.

The claws are for umm... protection. Yeah, that's right. Eh~hehheh ^^;

I will not speak for Rooky, however perhaps offer a few posible reasons.

Picture yourself walking along a road or a street and somebody jumps out and grabs you. You might even know the person's name but do not consider them a friend. I suspect if someome you did not know or like you might considered it an attack.

Picture yourself having a bad day and want some alone time, even not wanting those you consider friends talking to you. A hug is more intimate then speaking.

Picture yourself having been subjected to abuse.

Become a friend before you hug or even offer a hug and a hug might be accepted. Grab somebody that does not consider you a friend and expect bad reaction as posible. For me in RL a tight hug is physically painful as a result of an auto acident. Cyber hugs of course are not, though some from various users (in other places) were not readily welcomed.

I feel the need to clarify that my 'Wildshape hug' was intended as a joke. I was in no way offended when Rooky came over and cyber-hugged me.

I can imagine where Bhaern is coming from, just felt the need to point that out in case people might (potentially) misunderstand and think i was insulted ^^;

I believe you read the post incorrectly, though Rooky would need to verify.

The first line likely is a reply to my post, asking about a whistle and offer of the hug.

The second line was a mood statement.

The thrid line was a greeting of a kind to one of the new people that posted to this thread.

At least that is how I read it.
