The bloody novels are canon, unless superceded. No PC remembers the name, followers or foes of followers. It is BAMF that it is, players clearly can remmember but they are not in the Realms.

Well logic says he does not remember the name either, that at best he might remember he cast a spell to distroy a deity.

In the Realms logic does not apply, however I suspect he will not even know after casting the spell that he recalls he even crafted such a spell in the first place. After all we are talking about High/Epic magic which can have its cost to the casters. Also other deities including AO might have noticed a distrubance (in the Force) balance of great power (even if they do not recall the name of a deity) cast by a mere mortal and act against the mortal in many ways. Perhaps book 3 will tell us more.

Perhaps... but depending on how the series end I might choose to completely ignore everything starting from War of the Spider Queen. And in that case that'll likely go for these forums as well (unless a roleplaying thread specifies to run with the changes).

In the end the power of the DM supersedes the power of WotC.
