Just an announcement:

Drow on the Surface face as many dangers as those in the Underdark. Just because the Rivvil is friendly does not mean he wishes to help you, he may just want to get you off guard before knifing you.

Actually, in Shadowrun, there is no true alignment in name. It is more like real life in its how you play it. So there will be some that are greedy, some helpful, some skilled in magic, while others are cybered and more machine than flesh.
They came into being more as a genetic expression from the passing of Halley's Comet in 2061, than as a full-fledged race from the 4th World(which is kinda what they refer to as the time of D&D, with Shadowrun being the 6th World, and the world we are currently living in as the 5th World, due to end in 2011 according to the Mayan calender).
