With the premium modules that come with NWN Diamond I was happy with Kingmaker
(great RP for a single player) but was disappointed with Shadowguard and fact that the henchmen did not die (a lot of fight I would just have to step back).
Oh a warning on the City of Splendors PW, Drow characters have to be approved by the GMs otherwise the guards kill on site. I learned that one the hard way with one character.

I've never had a chance to play the Shadows of Undrentide module, I may have too once this on-call ends. Personally I think one of the best player made module was Cormyrian Nights. It had an awesome story line and a lot of hidden side quests that if you pissed off the townsfolk you can't access. It made use of the persuade skill and reputation with the fractions a lot. A very well made RP module.
As for the guards I think they are just jealous. But the problem is the PW starts you off right next to the guard post. [/color:31252gjo]

[url:2wfbywbb]http://cormyrdales.12.forumer.com/index ... ff222b79d7[/url:2wfbywbb] This is the fourms for the Cormyor Dalelands project. Right now the player base is huge, and getting on the server can take up to an hour, it's usally worth the wait. There are about 20 DM's and there are about 3 to 6 on all the time. It's high RP, low action. The rules and stuff are in the required reading section. Drow/dugar/deep gome charcters need to be approved by the ADM's. I really enjoy my time there.
I've stoped playing on FRC because it gets too laggy when there are more than 10 ppl on the server.
My PC is 2.1 GHz and I have (some) problems with "smooth" gaming on NWN. (it starts and stops and goes slowly) I hide my face when I think how slow NWN2 will be for me.[/color:lj6fdw6l][/quote:lj6fdw6l]
How much RAM do you have? I was running NWN on a 650 MHz and it ran fine because I had 512 MB of ram.
Your video card might also be the problem, they recommend a 32mb card but to play it well you should have a 64mb.
I'm sitting at 2.4 Ghz Proc, 1 Gig of RAM and a 128MB Video card but I'm fairly certain I'll be upgrading the video card to play NWN 2.

Hmm... thats really odd with 512 RAM I'd think you'd have atleast a 64mb vid card which should run NWN without any problems at all.
To find out what your card is right click anywhere on your desktop, go to properties and then click on the settings tab, click the advanced button and then the adapter tab and it should have all of the information you need, chip type and memory size are the most important, you might have enough memory for NWN2 but if your card isn't supported (like mine) it won't run.

If you want to know whether your computer can run Neverwinter Nights 2 go to System Requirements Lab[/url:33ywx4wy], select Neverwinter Nights 2 from the dropdown box and press the "Can you run it?" button.
The website will then collect system information from your computer (you'll first have to agree to download a plugin) and will then show you on a point-by-point basis if your computer meets the requirements. They even have a "Minimum" and a "Recommended" tab.
Note though that they're basing the requirements on the latest available data which, due to the fact that the game isn't out yet, is subject to change.
They've also got a list of other games you can test your computer for.

COOL!! Thank you Shirle.
You know what's fun in NWN? (after you've beaten the game) Try hacking your PC's level to lvl 40 and watch him just walk through the whole game. I had an elven lvl 40 wizard with improved 2-weapon fighting and I beat the game without casting any offensive spells, just epic warding. (and continual flame on items so I could sell them and make loads of money

As I suspected it is only my video card that falls short.
As for NWN I had PRC installed for a while and was having fun playing a Paladin/Wizard/Spellsword (Which is more fun than a barrel of monkeys btw) but the long load times and the fact that every few minutes it would freeze up for a few seconds forced me to uninstall PRC which means that the only way for me to play a Spellsword is to create armor with asf reductions in the toolset, which feels a bit like cheating to me. Although I must admit that the time I created some armor that had the ability to cast Hell Ball at will I had a grand old time.
