*Makes a face, her hands going to her hips* Bah. The only thing I have against Drizzt is how many idiots have copied him, over and over and ... There are other good Drow out there. I like him just fine, but I'm tired of hearing his name crop up. As for Jaraxle ... *She shrugs, letting her arms rest at her sides* I don't know a blessed thing about him, beyond what I've read on this forum. Seems that I need to go book hunting. *Purses her lips while glancing over at Rooky* To each their own, Rooky. I don't know how you judge any type of character, let alone elves. I could offer up a few examples of those that I enjoy, such as Arilyn Moonblade from Elfshadow (I know she's only half, but who cares?) and Liriel from Daughter of the Drow. There's many others, but I doubt you want me to bore you silly with that list.
Oh, and on a side note, Legolas is a name that I hear way too much, too.
I dribbled my share of drool when the movies first came out, just like most other warm-blooded femmes out there, and the character is indeed on my list of favorites. However, my enthusiasm was promptly squashed when I couldn't escape his name. His fan girls still run amok.
