<grapples Talwyn again, finding his tickle spots & pressure points & grinding her thumbs in but not so hard as to hurt but enough to make him squirm

A pretty typical reaction would be fear from a lot of people if they saw a demon thing coming towards them. Hells, they'd probably freak IRL if they saw a pretty Drow girl walking by too
When people fear something, they react in the standard flight or fight mode. Since Paladins are supposed to be Champions and slayers of monsters, he would probably not hesistate to attack unless he knew something before hand about what she was like that she wasn't really dangerous etc
even so, playing characters that are seen as monsters by pretty much everyone will be a challenge. Having shapeshifting abilities is the only thing that will let her walk among ordinary people. My character has to dress like a ultra extreme muslim girl with a full body dress and viel when she is on the surface world and in human cities etc so people don't freak out when they see her very dark gray skin <points to the icon of Eilistraee>
They will see Drow first, not that she is one of the good guys

and most drow are evil so people freak and react badly.
This is what makes playing outsiders so interesting and challenging
