Inrii laughed. "wake up before or around dawn? drunkards, i have seen in human villages. their fun to mess with. how many would it take to get you drunk veraka? that might would be funny! and elven ale is stronger than what them dwarves can dish out."
She reached into her pack to pull out a piece of jerky.

( I knew a guy who worked for my uncle whom argued with himself big time. Was funny to watch at times)

"drow and drunk? drow rarely do willfully. like Zek said, poisons are more common. i remember using a three combo, sleep poison, with a paralyzer and one that causes one to lose their meal both diretions. but then they got what they deserved," the last sentance with no joking and a bit harsher than Inrii was known for.
"despite our tiny size, i think drow can hold it better. but I'm not willing to try the theory."
she munched her jerky slice and fed the fire.

Inrii shook her head. not even cookies would get to to drink. she took no chances, alcohol inhibited the mind, weaken someone. she would never be helpless again she promised. She brung her knees to her chest and rested her chin on them.
"i'll have to pass; I dont drink alcoholic drinks. maybe I'll find some one willing to take my place."

He got up from his position and stetched a little.

she shrugged. sitting there staring at the fire. "you will have a chance in Daggerfalls."

soon the first peaks of silver began to show and the sky gradually grew lighter. the fire was low, but still going. Zarstra stirred and yawned.
'[i:owsnh5aq]breakfast time?[/i:owsnh5aq]'
Inrii pulled a chunck of the dried meat and tossed it to the lizard.
"I supose I better wake up Zek. he might prefer my face to yours," she went back to her joking again. "should I burn, i mean cook, breakfast?"
She figured Zek was a light sleeper and likely already awake, but she couldnt help but find something funny but not hurt him.
she pulled a feather out of her spell component bag and knelt in front of him, waved her hand in front of his eyes then started to tickle his noses softly.
she was wanted to see something, to see if she was crazy or imagining it or if it was what it seamed.

What Inrii did next, Veraka just had to watch. She was about to put the sleeping rangers patience to a test. He grinned at the possibilities.

He he slept the muscles along his neck, near the ear twitched slightly, almost as if listening. Eili had gone off to get a mouse or knowing the over ambitious cat a rat.. He was waiting for her to drag home a dire rat, then he knew that the feline was a bit more than she showed. The movement over his eyes didn't phase him, it was the feeling of something brushing against his nose that bothered him. At first he didn't respond, but as the eyes slowly opened, the vision slightly blurred from the brightness of the rising run he saw something in front of his face. It was near instinct that his hand shot up and grabbed for the arm. The ultimate goal was to be over whatever it was messing with his senses and probably poised to strike. Then again with it being two drow the scene could be taken a bit differently...

( cue possible awkward moment?)

i'm such a prankster...and i so missed april fools day! but who wouldnt be tempted to tickle your sleeping companions nose, well unless their mass is like 6 of you put together...

)

his hands went around her small wrist. despite her quick reactions, and thinking she could move fast enough, he was quicker this time. as her usual reaction she pulled/jerked back, her small frame still with some momentem from her jerking.

in the back she heard laughing at the scene around them.
