Old Forums

Right now the [url=http://www.eilistraee.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl:2rh23007]old forums[/url:2rh23007], from before we moved to the current (phpbb) system, are still around.

I'm looking at cleaning up the site around the server move (which, again, should be fairly transparent to you as you shouldn't notice any change) and as such I'm strongly considering removing the old forums entirely as well.

Of course I'd keep them backed up on my local HD, but they wouldn't be accessible anymore (and with it the free experience offer would expire too).

Is anyone still using the old forum? Are there any particular threads that you can to keep preserved? Perhaps I could set up a couple of pages with the content hard-coded or such.

Anyone any objections against me removing the old forums entirely?

I've now removed the old forums. Still have the data backed up locally if absolutely necessary, but the old forums are done with.
