NWN2 Question
I'm getting a new computer and it has Windows Vista Home, and I am wondering if NWN2 will work with Vista.

Just for fun, I thought I'd update you all on the status of my computer. It hasn't arrived yet, but I have been turning some things over in my head.
I recall a bit of commotion on these forums when certain races/subraces could not choose Eilistraee as their deity. I recall their being a patch or something that could fix that. Anyone know where to find it?

Agreed. Vista is the main reason i'm putting off buying a new comp atm, at least until SP1 fixes all the incompatibility bugfest they're blaming on other companies. As a retro gamer, such patches are generally unavailable to me.
Add to that that Vista (in line with MS releases so far) just hogs more and more hd space and system resources (up to 1 GIG of RAM!) in return for... Well, nothing spectacularly new that would warrant such a heavy load anyway, and you have my reasons of why i'm sticking with XP.

I know Vista sucks, but the rest of the computer was so awesome. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
And thanks Alak, I'll let you know about that.

[quote="Argoth":3g5zx49r] Vista is the worst piece of shit I've seen so far.[/quote:3g5zx49r]
I take it you missed out on Windows ME then, that or you, like most people, have blocked all memories of that smelly pile.
As someone who deals with very nearly every major OS ranging from windows 95 to Leopard on a daily basis I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that Vista really isn't THAT bad.
Yes, it's annoying, yes it's a system hog, yes there are computability issues but I recall a lot of people being pissed at XP for the same reasons. Compare XP on a 128MB system to Vista on a 1GB system and you'll see what I mean.
If I had my way we'd all still be rocking it on 2000 though, my lord that was easy to use.
