After what seemed an eternity, Malek broke the kiss, and looked into her eyes. "What did I tell you about calling me 'Lord'?" He smiles, and grabs her hands, and lifts her up with him as he stands. All the while looking deep into her eyes.

*A smile comes to her face as she says..* "And what did I say, my Lord? I said your a Lord through my eyes." *her smile deepens as she looks into his deep blue eyes.*

*Lightning whinnied for he wanted to check out he bed for the night, Quin laughed as she said to Malek,* "We should be on our way, your family is most likely getting worried that this strange female stole their brother from them..." *and she laughs out loud.*

Malek starts off, deeper into the forest, her hand still in his. After a moment, he looks back for Nathan. "You coming, wizard?" With that he starts off again.

(Can I ask you a question, Malek? Can you teach me of Eilistraee? I want to learn of her. I would be honored if you would teach me.)

*As she asked she looked at him wondering if he would.*

At the appearance of the elven mage, Maya jumped back into the relative safety of the forest growth, her spider running after her. She had deliberately put some distance between herself and the man for his own safety, knowing that if Circe saw him as a threat, she hoped someone had a spell memorised to cure poison... With Circe being able to retreat before the first of the more offensive spells started flying her way, of course.

She kept herself hidden as best she could, feeling a bit in doubt whether or not to take Malek up on his offer. The man [i:3a19uwka]seemed[/i:3a19uwka] friendly enough, but the way he and Quin were acting made her feel like a fifth wheel. She frowned when Eilistraee was brought up in conversation though, and hesitantly followed at a safe distance behind their small group until she no longer could hold back her curiousity. Moving forward a bit, she spoke with a hushed voice, already knowing that everyone would be able to hear her anyway. But she spoke in a hushed voice anyway for her own comfort.

- "Malek? Psst, Malek! Vel'uss zhah nindol Ellis Trahee dos zhahen haska bauth? L'eldalie sil'in dos kla'ath? (Malek? Psst, Malek! Who is this Ellis Trahee you were talking about? The elven noble you serve?)"

Malek turns and to the girl to answer her question, smiling. "No, she is not an Elven noble. Eilistraee is my goddess and I follow her guidance."

Maya nods in response to Malek's answer. She knew that surface dwellers had gods of their own, but it was only understandable that their names didn't sound familiar to her. Given that Malek was one of her followers, she probably was a Moon Elf goddess or something. After all, the Drow only followed Lolth, right?

- "I see, thanks. If you'd like, you could tell me more about the gods your people follow here on the surface, and i could tell you about Lolth, agreed?"

Judging by the look on her face, the offer she had made was a friendly one, with no harm intended -- nor was she aware of it, for that matter. In terms of religion, she only knew about Lolth, which was understandable since she had been part of the Spider Goddess clergy as a young acolyte being trained to be a priestess.

Looked to the young one and said "Lolth? She is the Spider Queen correct? I have believed I have heard some of this Goddess, but every time I have mentioned her name I would have my backside tanned. My father never allowed me to learn of her for it was his religion and did not want me to grow up like that. I truly do not have a God or Goddess I worship and now I am wondering if I should start." She looks back to the road in front of her as she ponders bout the words that have been said. Trying to keep things in perspective.

Quin did not want to say anything bad about the Goddess yet she was wanting to learn of her since her father did not say much of her. She wanted to know why Lolth was forbidden now that he is no longer with her minus always a part of her spirit, so isn't his religion.

Malek laughs. "But you already know Eilistraee. She is a drow goddess, but for those good at heart. If you ever witnessed anyone killed or turned into a drider for heresy, then they were probably followers of Eilistraee. And I know of Lolth. My great-grandfather was a drow, and he knew her teachings." Malek spat on the ground. "I will not hear her dogma of lies, deciet, and murder."

Maya nodded at Quin, and was just about to start talking about Lolth, when Malek spat on the ground, unintentionally (well, she hoped it was unintended, anyway) insulting her religion. The moon elf's words surprised the young drow, and she tilted her head at him, wondering about what he knew -- or [i:xik19n55]thought[/i:xik19n55] he knew -- about her race.

- "Umm... Who told you that? My dad got sacrificed to Lolth when i was Exiled, but he followed the Spider Goddess like anyone else in my House, and Trickery's the domain of Vae... Vahu... Vhaeraun? Lolth's domains are Spiders, Chaos and the darkness that exists everywhere in the Underdark."

She was feeling a bit uncomfortable after the unexpected attack on her faith, scratching the back of her neck with one hand as her unease became clear in her words. Exiled or not, she still saw herself as a follower of Lolth even if the other drow did not, especially since the spider she had been given when she joined the temple of the Spider Goddess had followed her up to the surface. Though, there was something else Malek had let slip that sounded odd to her, though she categorised it as misinformation on his side given what he had said about Lolth just now.

This was why Quin hated religion she thought to her self... she could see how much it hurt Maya when Malek spat on the ground before him... She did not like the sound of Lolth, but she would not have done that in front of a pure drow who was raised in that religion. Sort of hurt for Maya she gave Malek a look that could be seen she was not happy with him.

Malek notices the hurt on her face. "Oh, my apologies. I thought you had abandoned Lolth. Usually when I meet drow they are followers of Eilistraee. I guess I just jumped to conclusions. I hope you accept my apologies. I hate Lolth because her holy raids against the surface elves killed my lov...killed someone very dear to me." He pauses and shakes his head. "I..." Malek breaks off, he is hurt by memories and shame.
