OOC: I FOUND IT! I'm sorry, Nedylene for skipping your halfling. I'll try to make it up to you now, ok? let's say the man went for her and she came while I was talking to Rooky's character and just now I heard what she sayed, ok? Please forgive me. I didn't see that post.

IC: She smirks again to the lady seing that she again took out her hood.

"Nice game you're playing, takeing out and putting your hood again and again. I can play it too" she says and takes her hood out revealing a beautifull drow face with lavender eyes and long white hair and just then she hears the Halfling woman say that she can offer her a good story.

Answering to both, the halfling and the werewoman at the same time, she says "Yes, I found a few things I like: a pair of beautifull eyes, a good meal and a nice story" She looks at the Halfling and then the werewolf woman and asks "Would you mind listening to her story? a good smile could cheer my evening... and nice to meet you two. My name is Lilac"

Tyrmer:Akordia answers,
[t:aueli93t]"I am not certain how those abominations reproduce. I think it has something to do with worms or something equally grotesque. Oh Gods, they didn't so domething so twisted to you, did they?"[/color:aueli93t]
Velve:Kosef laughs, but not in an insulting manner,
[t:aueli93t]"I had in mind a very rare vintage of wine we have, made from a strange berry that is not even found on this plane. It is very sweet , but it is a red wine, that has a faint taste of lemons. It is not very strong, and even if you do get drunk, I can procur a room for you upstairs and you can sleep it off. I promise to not allow you to get naked and dance on the tables or anything assanine like that."[/color:aueli93t]
Ceistant:Kosef says as you walk to the table,
[t:aueli93t]"if you are hungry, food can be procured. We have a very fine chef .If not for our ellithyri entertainer.."
[t:aueli93t]He motions towards a tall man who resembles a drow, save that he has wings, horns and a long barbed tail, then continues,
[t:aueli93t]"I fear i would be quite fat. He insists on keeping us all in shape in case more trouble comes into the tavern than the guards can handle. But I can send an order for you to the kitchens , only tell me what you would like."[/color:aueli93t]

[t:aueli93t]"Well I fear this isn't much to tell. The druid of Maliekki and the priest of malar came in to the bar, and I..well I hid under a table. But there wasn't much left of the tavern when I came out but that table . I'll tell you that."[/color:aueli93t]

"Well I unfortunately, am intimately familiar with how they reproduce. Each Mind Tyrant produces a number of tadpoles during its long life span. These are kept in pools along with the Elder Brain in the holiest of holy chambers in the heart of a Mind Tyrant city. These mostly die before maturity through ill health or are used as snacks by the elder brain, or in experiments. Well when they do reach maturity then they are implanted into the brain of a humanoid, usualy a human or elf but sometimes a dwarf or similar. They paralyse the body and start to metamorphosise. Over the course of several months the body (which is cocooned by a fluid that seeps from its pores) changes into a fully fledged Mind Tyrant. it is an agonizing process for which the host is concious throughout, never sleeping, akin to being eaten alive very slowly, or being infected with a very slow form of Necrotising Facitisis. From observations my captors made the host invariably goes insane within a few months. They were trying to see what would happen if the host could be kept sane and alive up until the tadpole took over. They mutated several tadpoles in different ways and implanted them in different hosts and monitored the effects. Most perished and in some cases took the tadpole with them, but in my case they succeeded. I somehow kept my sanity over the long months of my metamorphosis but it had an unforseen side effect. The metamorphosis was incomplete when the tadpole tried to take over, and because my will was strong enough I could fight it. As a result I am what you see before you today." he reaches up and removes his veil, his face and as much neck as you can see are vaguely recogniseable as the black skin of a drow with some familiar features. But Selvik's mouth is a lamprey like maw with four teeth clacking around in it. And there are four tentacles mounted around it curled round his neck so as nto to stick otu of the veil. His mouth doesn't move when he says more, though his voice sounds thesame as you recognise. "Unfortunately, my creators did not just throw out their failed experiment but thought it an outstanding success and proceeded onto even more vile experiments. Barkeep, an ale if you wouldn't mind."

*The werewolf nods to both of them*
My name is Alhandra, but to most people known as Rooky. I'm a werewolf, but kept in control by brute side of my Figter guild, shap-changing abilities of my Druidic brehtren, and the Talisman of Change given to me by my "Father"and kin.
It's a pleasure to meet you both :D And yes, I'd love to hear her story. Perhaps we can exchange them.
*YOu could see she she wasn't too happy with this idea, but making the halfling do all the talking wasn't fair. She also checked if her sack of gold was still there*

*At the fireplace, in a puff of smoke the mouse was gone, sent away to some werehouse filled with food. She smiled to Jasmine*
YOu can defreze the cat now. The mouse is in heaven enjoying tons upon tons of free food... I wanted to ask you, where did you learn to do that?

Lilac looks at the werewolf girl that introduced herself as Alhandra.

"Then I'll call you Rooky if you feel more comfortable and I'm not affraid of shapechanging creatures. But the fact that you can control it is awesome. Perhaps if I became a shapeshifter I could use my fighting training to control it too after a lot of concentration and working on it, of course"

Then, listening to the short anecdote of the halfling, she smirked and then started laughing softly "Yeah, I'm sure it must have been a mess that tavern, but... didn't you see any details? I don't remember if I have any funny stories, but I do remember a few things with a lot of details. Don't misunderstand me, Taras, I think it was fun that you stayed under a table and perhaps you didn't see a thing, but you must have heard what they sayed to each other, right? and I'm sure you're a better story teller than I am. Perhaps is my turn to tell something?" she asks and rises a hand to call for someone to serve her something.

When that person arrives she smiles as kindly as a Drow can "Could you bring them" she points at Taras and Rooky "Whatever they want to drink. Is on me. I feel generous tonight"

In the center of the room:

The elf girl smiled to both males as they approached, in spite of the bad manners of the dark one, and it seems his aura of menace doesn't threaten her for some unknown reason, and so she's always very relaxed.

As the light man spoke and greeted her and the dark one clopped down in the seat, she looked first at the light one.

"Good evening, Sir" and with the same good manners she greeted the second one "Good evening to you too" she says, apparently feeling very comfortable in spite of the way the dark one's looking at her.

"There's nothing to forgive of your companion, light..."she looks at him with a [i:29bgc1ki]I-know-something-about-you[/i:29bgc1ki] kind of look "cousin. Once there was a sailor that... oh, perhaps that's a story to tell later. Jandar and Tebryn... I'm Philia Ul Copt, but my friends just call me Philia or Phil. I must admit I asked you both to come because I'm a little curious... you'll see... my nose never lies and if I'm not mistaken..." she sniffs the air to both of them "you have draconic blood... and also vampire... and demon... celestial... unicorn... elf... drow... You're both quite a mix! hahaha" she laughs with a cristalline laughter "I'm a ranger and a demon hunter. I wouldn't know what to do with you if you only had draconic and demonic blood... although I think you" she looks at Jandar "must be of Silver dragon and you" she looks at Tebryn "must be of black dragon? Perhaps my eyes betray me." Finding both males very attractive she looked at them both with her silver eyes that looked like pools of silver, the scent of rain still lingering in the air around Philia. "Well... Guys. I'm in a search. Perhaps you have seen him. is a Silver dragon that disguises as a human male. his eyes are silver like mine, his hair's dark and his skin very light with silver glitters on it, and as a dragon he looks very handsome and respectable. his name's Theros, and he's a sorcerer that I've been told lately is now dedicated to commerce. You wouldn't happen to ave seen him, right? I've wondered through a lot of places and have been looking for him for 6 years now. I'd really appreciate some information or help, and of course, I can pay for it" she leans back in her seat, taking a zip of her wine [i:29bgc1ki]"Actually I wanted beer, but this wine's good enough"[/i:29bgc1ki] she thinks to herself as her ungloved hand puts the cup in the table and leans in a quite sensual way in the back of the seat again, crossing her long and well toned legs and taking a good look at both males. Not a hungry look, just appreciating their looks.[/color:29bgc1ki]

OOC: This is Lilac:
(Actually is her twin sister, Argos, but they look exactly the same, so no point in making 2 different pictures if they look the same, right?)

[img:29bgc1ki]http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k294/ ... color2.jpg[/img:29bgc1ki]

This is Philia:

[img:29bgc1ki]http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k294/ ... Philia.jpg[/img:29bgc1ki]

And from now on, that my characters both introduced themselves, I'll also start my posts not only with different colours but also with their names.

Devante smiles politely to the man as he comes to stand at their table.
"I would welcome more company! Especially if you bring such interesting conversation as spoke mere minutes ago," he states still with his welcoming smile, as he gestures to one of the other seats at their table.

He looks to Kosef as the man makes the remark about Devante getting drunk. "Ah, I'm sure that is a sight most have never seen," he chuckles, "a reserved and upright paladin of The Vigilant One drunken and dancing naked on the tabletops."
He regains a semblance of composure, yet it is certainly much more at ease than it was a minute ago. "Then again, I suppose I am not so reserved or upright as my superiors would like." He smiles slightly, clearly grateful of the fact.
"On a more serious note, that sounds perfect.... and a meal also. Perhaps a chef's special or something? I don't really mind so long as its not the same old rations one must get used to..."
same old rations one must get used to..."[/quote:2fmrzpwl]

Agreeing with Devante, Chal’lachar-gloth seconds to Kosef, “Yes, light drink and warm food would indeed be enjoyed. Cured rations and small beer have begun to take their toil on me.”

*Letting an bundle of swords & a heavy pack rest on the floor beside his chair, Chal’lochar-gloth sets across from Devante. Throwing his cloak back over the chair and loosening his robes, he reveals the finely meshed suit of chain, surely of Drow craftsmanship. The dark metal links seemingly tailored specifically to him. The unique style wrapping him in an almost second skin. The only adornment, a single dark jeweled pendant on a heavy chain, around his neck, lying starkly against his well weathered and tested mail.*
[/color:2fmrzpwl]
Turning back to Devante, “Well met, I am Chal’lachar-gloth”. With a subtle facial gesture he says, “Kallockar, if you wish. Some have difficulty with Ilythiirian”

“Forgive me if I am not familiar with the Orders of the region, but who is ‘The Vigilant One’ you speak of?

Tyrmer:When you show your face you do not receive the expresion of fear or horror from Akordia that you may have expected.Instead her expression is one of not pity so much as sympathy.the bartender slides you your ale and she says,
[t:1e9iu8d0]"Only continue if you wish. I would not have you speak of things that trouble you. But if you believe speaking to me would ease your burden then I would gladly listen to all you have to tell."[/color:1e9iu8d0]
Zareari Det'tar: Jasmine stops singing, and the cats meows and jumps down from the table. Then she says,
[t:1e9iu8d0]"Well to tell you the truth I was born with the gift. My mother said that when I was but a tiny girl she found me singing in a back alley , and I was surrounded by stray cats and dogs. My mother was a..a woman of ill repute , I do not know who my father was.But my mother was, despite the career she was forced into, a dear and wonderful woman. She saved every copper she earned to send me to bardic school so that I would not end up like her."[/color:1e9iu8d0]
sabaal ( Lilac) Tara laughs,
[t:1e9iu8d0]"I just told that opening as a joke. Though it really did happen. The only things I heard were vast and gratitous amounts of insults between the two , along such lines as tree hugging scum and murderous filthy ba$^@%*. But I know many more tales, and most far funnier.Perhaps,"
[t:1e9iu8d0]Tara smiles at the woman named Rooky,
[t:1e9iu8d0]"I could tell you the tale of Tara versus the werewolf."
sabaal ( philia) Jandar takes your hand, leaning down to kiss it .
[t:1e9iu8d0]"Your senses are keen indeed, my lady Philia.I do believe i catch the whiff of draconic upon you as well.As for this gentleman yu are searching for, allow me to think for a moment..."
[t:1e9iu8d0]Jandar stops for a moment and his hand moves at a lightning speed, striking Tebryn on the side of the head.Tebryn long tail immediatly drops from where it had been approaching your backside from behind your chair.
[t:1e9iu8d0]Tebryn raises his hands, palms out and tries to look innocent as he says,
[t:1e9iu8d0]'What?"
ooc..you want me to make something up about this guy Theros?[/color:1e9iu8d0]
Velve:"The venison stew perhaps, it is perhaps , a simple meal, but it is very good this time of year, with a few loaves of fresh bread. How does that sound?"

Responding to Kosef, "Sounds wonderful, and the bread will be a treat. Maybe a bit of cheese too if you have any on hand. I have developed bit of taste for it since I was introduced to it aboard ship last"

Devante smiles to Chal’lachar-gloth. "Well met then, Kallockar. As I am sure you overheard, I am Devante. I do not have much problem with speaking the tongue as many of my race may, but I am not so good with some of the pronounciation.."

He fiddles with the symbol hanging around his neck, a pale thumb running over the blue pupil of a staring eye, set on the likeness of a silver war guantlet. "The Vigilant One, is known also as The Watcher, or the Great Guard. Or even simply Helm. He is my lord, and god of guardians and protectors."

Devante then turns to Kosef, "Indeed, that sounds perfect."

"You are very kind fair lady. But I do believe I shall go on. I have never told my whole story to anyone before." He drinks his drink again, now that his veil is removed Akordia can see that he simply pours in all into his mouth and it just goes down without the need to swallow. "One of the interesting qualities Mind Tyrants posess is that they have no swallowing or gag reflexes, I suppose they would be unhelpful when eating a brain whole." He comments as he does this.

"As I said, they merely saw me as an interesting specimen. They then proceeded to carry out various experiments on me to find out more about themselves. It is peculiar, Mind Tyrants have no qualms about killing "lesser" races, and before maturity their tadpoles eat each other and are eaten by the elder brain. But once a Mind Tyrant is matured it is very rare that one will kill another. Thus there is very rarely any experiments on them by their own kin. That is why I excited them so much, a drow with all the attributes of a Mind Tyrant. They practiced their "Illithid Grafts" on me, trying to expand their knowledge for use by their own agents on the surface, they gave me enlarged cranial areas to see if they could increase a Mind Tyrants already formidable intelligence. Not once did they actually talk to me though. I hate them. It is as simple as that, they have absolutely no positive emotions that make them in any way redeemable. If it was in my poewr I would extinguish the flame of every single one of them in an instant." A Sly grin comes across his face, it is an odd sight given his strange mouth.

OOC\ Nedylene, I had a question about where the Tavern was located. I assume it is located somewhere in the West/West Interior (West of the Sea of Fallen Stars) of Faerûn. [/color:2qivrgw5]

Ceistante and Velve: Kosef sends an order back to the kitchens for the food and leans back in his chair, listening to the both of you.
ooc to ceisante you know I hadn't thought up a location for this place yet, but that sounds as good as any...[/color:37tin7sf]
[t:37tin7sf]Tyrmer: "You have indeed had a very difficult experience, sir.I would not blame you for wanting vengeance. But revenge is like water, with no food, it will keep you going for a while, but it has no substance, and eventually will no longer fill you.The best revenge that you could have it is to live and prosper , regardless of what those monsters did to you."[/color:37tin7sf]
Rooky: Tara laughs, long and hearty, slapping her small thighs with her palms when she does,
[t:37tin7sf]"If I had a silver pole, I may have. But unfortunately,I am not much of a fighter, nor do I pretend to be. When I was a wee bit of a thing, my mother told me to always use the gifts the gods gave me, and I could never go wrong. What the gods gave me was the gift of a big mouth. It has gotten me in, and out of more scrapes than I can count."
[t:37tin7sf]"The night I met the lycan I was walking home from a friends house and made the mistake of deciding to take a short cut through Neverwinter Woods. Bad idea there, but fortunatly enough for me I smelled the lycan before I saw him. This was a very large male lycanthrope , in his full hybrid form and seemed to have taken the idea that I would make a very nice snack. He was not so pleasant in demeanor or odor as you, lady, and it didn't take long for me to realize that he wasn't very bright either. He chased me up a tree that bore branches far too thin and spindly for him to climb. I know the tree wouldn't bear my slight weight for long either, so I knew my only option was to out think him.I searched my pack and discovered nothing that would assist me in any way, but I did find one thing made of silver. So I took it in my hand and called out to him,"
[t:37tin7sf]"So Captain Fuzzy butt, you wish to engage in battle with the famous Lady Ankle Biter, scourge of dragons and other beastly creatures, and hero of halflings the world over."
[t:37tin7sf]"I do not know if he believed me, for captain fuzzy butt only snarled something unintelligent, so I continued.
[t:37tin7sf]"As for werewolves like yourself, sir, I bare in my hands the fierce dagger Mielikki's bane, a family heirloom , gifted to us by the Goddess herself, to fight off the scourge of lycanthropes who were overrunning our village many years ago. This fierce weapon drips silver coated fire, allow me to demonstrate."
[t:37tin7sf]"I then took out my only remaining scroll, a simple flame hand spell and read it as quickly as I could, for the lycan was trying to shake me out of the tree. But the spell went off and I applied it to my silver 'weapon'. as I had hoped, a large glop of silver melted off and landed on the lycans head. I do not know if he choose to believe me then or if he merely left for easier game, but captain fuzzy butt loped off in the night, and I never saw him again. Pity , for we were becoming good friends I thought. I ask you now, would you like to know what dreadful silver weapon I had on my person that night. I will tell you, I 'borrowed ' it from my friend, for she had more than enough, and I knew it would fetch a few coins as least. It was an ornate and nicely carved silver spoon."
[t:37tin7sf]tara reaches into her shirt and pulls out a silver spoon on a string, the bottom of it is warped and melted.
[t:37tin7sf]"I've kept it since, as a good luck charm, and a reminder of the day i fought off a lycan with my big mouth and a silver spoon."[/color:37tin7sf]
