*Bwael dried lips acepts the drops of water dripped in to his mouth that Cerridwen provides him. At least a sign of life, though if he wakes he might have something about being dragged to the source of water.*

A drow male comes out of a somewhat secret tunnel near the now destroyed house, stopping right at the edge of it, not wanting any of the commons from here to see him. Even though he is a drow, he's a surface drow, a follower of the Dark Maiden, not her brother or mother.

Taking note of the totality of the destruction, he stays well in the shadows and finds another tunnel to travel down, spotting a dying heat source in a blood trail. Upon spotting the trail, his heart lurches, not knowing who the blood belongs to, whether it be the Natron of the house, his secret lover, or her brothers, Bhaern. Either way it makes his silvery eyes gleem a bit in anger.

Continuing to follow the trail, he happens into the tunnel where the wounded person and a couple of other have just vacated the area by the looks of the heatprints in the ground, yet he hears the voices a bit farther ahead, and the steady tread of people walking.

Throwing caution into the winds, he pulls the twin bastard swords from their scabbards on his back and heads toward the sound, not knowing whether it be friend or foe ahead of him. He continues swiftly and silently ahead until he spots the three travellers, noting that one appears to be a demon or draconic creature of some sort, female by the loks of things, another appears to be a surface elf, who also happens to be the source of the trail that led him to the mushroom cave, and the third, by the way that he walks is a drow male.

Nodding to himself, he speaks out to those in front of him, talking in the drow language for the male alone, Vel'bol uri'shoelt rath a I'qu'ellar Bhaern, zhaunyl dos weren't thalackz'ondus?(What happened back at the house Bhaern, surley you weren't raided?) The voice is soft and melodic, both gentle and stern at the same time.

While he and Bhaern were never wht you could really call friends, for Bhaerns' sisters sake, he tollerated the male. At the sound of the voice, Bhaern should recogonize his sisters lover, one Lothair Moonblade. Wheteher he'll welcome Lothair or not is completley up in the air at the present time.

The surface elf gladly recieves the healing potion from Lania, reaching her other hand out to lightly tap under Lania's wrist, a old gesture in Drow Sign used as an aknowledgement that the gift would be remembered....however at hearing the sound of movement through the field the surface elf is again rememered of her ordeal at the hands of Drow. The new voice calling out in Drow, though melodic and soft, is still a reminderer and at first confusing. She drops the vial before comprehending the words. The surface elf crouches down, her hands search until she has found the vial and finding it unbroken, she smiles, slipping it into a fold of her garment. She stands, still keeping her face down and smoothing the dirt from her tattered clothing. She tilts her head in the direction of the voice and listens for Lania and Bhaern's replies.

*The situation changing quickly, calling for quick decsions if House Quel is to survive. The child wants to be taken to an island, the fair elf clear fears hearing Drow and the friend and lover of his sister has appeared demanding to know what has occured at the house. The fair elf releasing his arm to retrive the potion offers the best chance of keeping this group together as a start of rebuilding the House. Speaks still in undercommon that all should understand, also uses the hand language to fill in or to correct what is spoken.*

Lania It is good to know animals like you. *he whisthles to the lizard and it lowers iself to the ground to make it easier for you to ride.* I think perhaps our friend here should ride as well *indicating Verlansia, tries to reasure both* I will make sure the lizard will not go on the walls or ceiling. It will make travel though the tunnels easier for us. We can speak later about travel to the island

*To Lothair* I have heard of a Drow House war, that one named Quel was defeated, no nobles survived that I know of. Would all those Houses be distroyed. *Hand signs," my sister is dead I could not defeat all that attacked. The House defenses were betrayed somehow, there were so many. I killed perhaps 10 or by myself my sister I know killed 20" even as he signs continues to speak* As you see my friend is injuried and I seek to take her to a place safer then here. You are welcome to come with us if you peace pledge seeking to do no harm to these that travel with me. I offer this peace bond to you know for myself and those in my protection.

*Stops the hand talk for now one careful reaches for Verlansia's hand to guide her.* I have captured a lizard and riding will make the travel for you better, I have been well trained on how to control from a distance, there is no danger from riding. Water and food awaits us after a short trip.

Lothair growls to himself at the hand code that Bhaern is flashing him, having come to truly love Bhaerns' sister as more than just a mere lover. He then calms himself and looks to the child and the sirface elf, then to Bhaern. I offer you my swords for further protection and also give my word that no harm will come to any of those here by my hands. I will also accept and return the peace bond, having come to like you over the past few decades my friend.

He calmly walks over and offers his assistance to the surface elf as well, introducing himself to her and the child. My name is Lothair Moonblade. I follow the Dark Maiden and will help you as much as I possibly can. He then awaits the party to start moving, wanting to talk to Bhaern when there's a bit of noise to cover some of what they might have to say, due to the fact that what he has to suggest may cause the lady and child some distress. Not to metion the fact that it may make Bhaern a bit upset and cause an arguement.

Lania takes the elven ladies hand and says,
"I can help you get on the lizard if you want me to.Before Grandfather died , he had lost his vision and he used to use me as his 'eyes'."

The surface elf attempts to reply to Lothair Moonblade but quickly closes her mouth. She instead accepts the help the others offer her and is lifted up on the lizard. Something falls onto the ground, perhaps unnoticed. A distinctive metal token, a Drow House insignia attached to a broken chain lay under the lizard.

Lothair hears the metal clink of something hittong the ground. Once he has finished helping Verlansia onto the lizard, he bends down and picks up the fallen token. Not knowing to which house it belongs, he holds it for Bhaern to see as well. Might this be the token of the house that attacked yours, my friend? If so, we now know who the perpetrators are, and we can seek vengence upon them once we make sure the lady and child are safe and well cared for.

He looks directly at Bhaern as he holds the token out, watching for a reaction, any hint at all that may lead he and Bhaern to the attackers of his love, and any one else that they may have attacked, including Verlansia and the child.

OOC: Will take a bit of liberty as far as getting to the cave, that is posting that the two females safely mount the Lizard and cave is reached.

IC:

*After see ing that both Verlansia and Lania are mounted on the Lizard, the broken chain and token heard dropped, whistles the Lizard to rise with an order to stay on four feet (The lizard might not like being treated like a pack lizard but the untrained riders would dislike more if the lizard went bipedal and there is no need for speed when Lothair and him will be walking). The chain fall, every sound is noticed, but one can only do so much. Lothair bears his reach for it, when shown it, shows him in retrun the token he took from one of the last three. In the dim light it is hard to see if they match however many Houses are of such that would treat a fair elf as this one is. Time to deal with later. Regreting that Lothair has said that he has known him for decades and more so him declaring him insane, by claiming to be a follower of Eilistraee, replies in undercommon* Lothair I acept your peace pledge. We need to get to the water and see to the care of these under out care. It being a place of water another might have come so we need to be aleart. *Something Lothair should be well aware of and perhaps even te females understand now. Leads the way to the cave guiding the lizard with whistles when needed and nearing the water catches the sight of Cerridwen tending to Bwael. Hand signs to Lothair , "Just one and not ready to fight, we flank her and find out her desire to live", without waiting for signed answer or any other steps to the left of Cerridwen and still in undercommon* What brings you to my campsite? *Perhaps not the friendist way to approch someone, but things are changing so quick that what can be made secure must be, to mitigate the harsh words a handbow held in hand now instead of a sword . and the small crossbow held at the half ready. That is not aimed directly at Cerridwen, something though that can happen quickly should she move to attack or cast a spell.*

The statue watches as the familiar drow bursts into the cave with company. The small child brings memories of past lifetimes flooding back from when she had younglings of her own, so very long ago now. The surface elf appears to have been mutilated somewhat from the dried blood on her face and the new drow seems to be hale and hearty so probably unwounded, she sees a slight constant sorrow in his eyes though.

Lothair follows along behind the group after showing Bhaern the token and seeing the other three that he has in his hand, covering the rear and making sure there are no attacks from behind. Once in the cave, he notes the others in there, as well as the seemingly appearing statue.

Taking note of Bhaerns' hands flicking at him in the hand code, and seeing him move off to the left, Lothair moves to the right and holds his bastard swords at the ready, just in case the lady and her friend try to fight instead of having peacable intentions.

The surface elf hears Bhaern and Lothair's footsteps part from walking together. The tone of Bhaern's voice has changed and by his words she realizes someone is at his camp that must have caused them alarm. Her concern turns to the...child...her hands move, feeling around for Lania.

OOC: Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by having something about being dragged to the water :-[

IC: seing that her friend shows signs of life and accepting the water (and not choking), she sighs in relief and laughs.

As the relief makes her feel more relaxed she feels her own tiredness now and has to fight her eyelids to keep them opened.

"Oh, Bwael, you're going to live... please wake up soon" she talks in Drowish to him (not undercommon, that's different) and kisses him gently in the lips after giving him some more water "I wish we had some kind of pot. I could make more water if we had one... Well, anyways in a few more minutes I'll be able to heal again" she chuckles "so hold on. You'll be awake very soon".

Then she stretched and washed her face to help her stay awake some more, then she looks at the statue and admires the material, then she thinks she heard a crack comming from the statue and stretches her hand to touch it.

Then, as she hears footsteps comming into the cave, her first thought is "No... please, no... not L'Venorik" ad feels her heartbeat faster and faster in fear that her captors could have found her. She doesn't feel her arms strong enough to drag Bwael any more, so she just embraces him in a protective way, holds her sacred eilistraeean symbol tightly in her left hand; the hand of the heart, and prays to Eilistraee with all of her faith in a language that not many mortals know.

(anyone speaks Celestial? only if anyone does I'll type the prayer, but if not then there's no point in doing so; is just a prayer to Eilistraee.)

ooc..sorry i took so long ..something wrong with my view of the posts, none are coming up new for some reason.
Lania feels the older woman grasp her and she squeezes her hand,
"There are two people up ahead, but I don't think they wanna hurt us, cause they smell alright. One of them is laying on the ground, I don't think he feels very well."
She says, to assure the blinded woman.

*It becomes interesting indeed, a challedge answered by nothing but strange language. The females appears to be hugging another. Bhaern lowers the hand bow and speaks first to the stutue in undercommon*
I hae brought dome friends back with me that you might want to talk to.

*Judging the danger is low, continues to the rest I think there is no danger here, Let us tend to our hurt. Lothair perhaps you will watch the enterance in case others might also seek water.

*Steps over to the lizard and speaks to the fair elf* Come let me help you to next to the water. *Then smiles to Lania* How did you enjoy your first lizard ride?
