dirty guard stepped back, gripping his pole arm tightly.
the other overlooked them then waved them thru.
before she got too far in, Inrii threw green faerie fire over the guard.

"what u do that for?"
then freaked out, falling in the dirt and rolling around as green fire appeared around him
"idiot, its not burning you."
"whatever." as he got up, still smacking his self.
when they were passed, dirty guard gave him a confused look,
"well equipped travelers means gold. Neriah would love them."
"so we better send word then."

He watched and listened some at the commotion. Chuckling slightly he looked back at her" Nice trick.. Well, lets take care of your business first before we go shopping.."

Veraka looked to Inrii as they all passed through the gates, then gave her a thumbs-up. "The one thing I love is seeing an idiot rolling around when his senses don't say that he's lit up a like a torch."

they walked into the Market Square. people walking here and there. pedlers trying to sell their wares. and the occasional squable.
She looked around and spotted the stable. "might put Midnight up first, be less obvious. Alya or the guild will probably be in the slum areas."

Nodding silently as they walked" Alright, put her up where you want too. It'll be interesting to meet whom it is that you wish to or rather need to meet." He was a hair between being honest and from pick pocketing whomever he walked by. It was so tempting...so so so tempting...

Veraka followed both of Zek and Inrii, Aurora flanking him.
"So who exactly is this 'contact' of yours, Inrii?" Veraka asked directly; if it was one thing he hated more than anything else, it was not knowing anything about someone that was a 'contact'.

looking around,"word of our entrance is probably already spread."
they walked over to the stable. a rather simple building. a boy stood there by the doors. "we got business," he called.
a husky man chewing a piece of straw walked out to greet them.
She slid off Midnight, careful to keep her pack and stuff hidden.

"what's your offer?" he asked. he knew the game. if they gave too low, then he'd say. but most would offer to high.
"you wanna play games male? fine, a copper."
he narrowed his eyes to her, "one gold a night."

Veraka, growing distressed, pulled out three gold coins, and dumped them into Inrii's hand.
"You can pay me back later," he whispered to her.

She was surprised at it. "you might wanna keep coins on the hidden side." she whispered. then with slight of hand, she pocket the coins and pulled out a counterfit coin and tossed it to the stable man. "I'll pay for the rest later. Anything wrong done to my horse..." she let the threat hang.

Veraka chuckled at the thought; "meh, whatever I lose, I'll let the both of you out of your thief cages, especially the ranger; after all so many people, so many pockets," he whispered back, implying their earlier conversation of going rogue on the people's coin purses.

He just gave Veraka a look." You have no Idea how rich one could come here.." He spoke low. Looking back to her he shrugged slightly watching the street quietly almost as if sizing people up for things. He was good.. when he had to be..

She snickered at the comments.
"alright, now that we 'insulted' and harrased the guards, and threatened the stable manager, we're ready."
they walked thru the town avoiding the majority of crowds.
Inrii examined the buildings and the stores. it was a bit different a few years ago. it had grown some more people, same amount of space.
they passed a dilapitated hollowed out building. past them was the worn down homes, dirty streets, and suspicious folks.
a dark cloak and hooded humanoid stood leaning against a ruined house.

"Inrii, where exactly did you say this 'contact' of your's would be?" Veraka asked, more than a little curious at the hooded figure. Aurora kept her eyes locked on the stranger.
