the bouncer huffed, the newcomers didnt fight, but he knew the threats were not just a bluff and he back down and finished his prevous business.
the waitress smiled friendly, "ale and a strawberry wine then. she head off to full the order.

Inrii closed in near the guys, listening to their conversation.
with the info needed she walked to the stairs and 'appeared' again. then she causally walked to the table and grabbed a seat, her hood still low over her face.
"the ones in the back are who were looking for," she whispered. "they are gunna attempt to take us when we head out. and for some reason they think they can."
she showed them a few things from their pocket, including a bird's talon. a smile crept on her face.

the waitress brung the drinks and set them infront of the guys waiting for her coin.
"oh, i didnt know someone joined you...drink?"
Inrii shook her head and the waitress walked off.
a small water skin was pulled from her pack. she quickly checked their drinks for poison, whispering the arcane words.
"yall are safe. so plan?"

Watching he took some coins from a small pouch of his and gave it to the waitress. When inrii checked the drinks he mused" Sometimes a bit of poison's good for you." he mused and swirled the wine in the glass a little bit watching it before taking a sip. Setting it down he idly ran his finger along the rim of the glass." depends on the results you want."

Veraka pulled out a silver piece and handed it to the young waitress discreetly, smiled at her, then turned to his compatriots as she walked off.

He listened to Inrii explain the intel that she had gathered about the suspicious looking party in the back. Taking a good drawl from his mug, the aasimar looked to Inrii, then to her little 'acquired' items. He grinned, liking the train of thought that seemed to be forming in her head.

Upon hearing Zek's comment, he decided to add his two cents; "not to mention in what way do you two want to ask questions to them, and to how many of them, though in this situation, we have a disadvantage, considering the fact that we don't know which of them has the full scope of everything here; unless of course, you just wanna ask a couple of them some 'pointed' questions, then I believe we could leave right now. . . . and I would still be able to get that brawl in that I've been meaning to have." Veraka snickered at the thought of the poor bastards that got into no-holds bar fist fight with him; "I'll say this, it'll get entertaining, to say the least."

Aurora raised her head; [i:3eapq4mf]and that's putting it mildly[/i:3eapq4mf] she added on, letting her thoughts be heard by the three only.

Hearing him he chuckled some" I think he looked at me thinking he could break me." Draining the glass he set it down and looked to the two of them." To the point... literally... the best information is gleaned..." He looked to Veraka" All goes well.. we could finish that unfinished business..." Looking to Aurora" A shame there's no meat here suitable for you to devour... unless you have no qualms... about it otherwise.. you might get sick.. and I will not clean that mess."

Aurora looked to Zek, then what looked liked a grin formed on her white-furred face; [i:njtv63eb]no qualms?[/i:njtv63eb] she asked quizzically, [i:njtv63eb]if Inrii can char-broil it, not really no.[/i:njtv63eb]
The comment brought a very evil chuckle from Veraka. Looking to Inrii, he said, "looks like you might get to fry something after all."

He looked at veraka" Aren't you supposed to be a paladin?" he muttered before looking to the wolf." Your partner is about as sadistic as some Lolth priestesses isn't he?"

((saturday & sunday wont be around, family reunion...so yall continue on. i'll be helping, blowing up...whatever...for the story. or anything insane basically. lol))

Inrii sipped her water. studying the scene.
"well, if we walk out into the alley, there gunna follow. so we could get away with alot. and i usually dont need an excuse for some fire. ha, i get do it without my knowing aparently."
upon hereing Zek's comment she did look at the warrior, "yeah, I have wondered about that. your a shady paladin," she joked. "most have some stick in their butt."

Alya was at her globe looking for the companions. she got some hint tho something was helping them out.

Veraka grinned at Zek's remark; "paladin of the Dark Maiden, storm warrior of the Platinum Dragon. Major difference between the two."

He turned to Inrii, saying "shady, I'll not argue that; I prefer to think of myself as a paladin with an attitude, and a darker perspective to worldly matters."

Aurora looked to the ranger; [i:2sz782y8]He may have their sadistic side, but there IS a reason for that. Plus, I'm glad that he doesn't have their complete persona; I couldn't see him trying to get feminine attention with what he is already.[/i:2sz782y8] She made sure that that message was to only Zek and Inrii.

Looking at aurora deadpan for a moment trying not to laugh ' oh what big guy in a purple gown? tell me that is not an amusing concept, albeit disturbing' he relayed to aurora before looking to the two." Glad you found a deity.. ok two deities to follow, I've yet to follow one. I'm too sporadic, then again I probably have been graced by some luck from a few.. After all, it can't be all skill for me to live this long." Mostly it was, just sometimes he did wonder..

Inrii softly laughed at the images now in her head. sometimes having an active imagination wasnt always a good thing.
"you just had to do that didnt you Aurora," she joked to the wolf. of course Zek's barely noticble reaction gave away that he was having simular thoughts.
after she stopped laughing, she asked the paladin "and makes you any different than a powerful fighter if you claim to be a paladin, with no code?"

she looked at Zek as he spoke of deities but remained silent on it. there was still little could input since the last conversations on the trail. despite her thoughts or feelings twords the Masked Lord, he had personally saved her from death before. why, she didnt know. he rarely spoke to her or was involved in her life as she saw among many in her house. of course she figured Vhaeraun much like most everyone in her life was. and as she said before, it wasnt like she didnt NOT follow him. she followed her own path in life, lived her own life as she wanted. but despite all this, their was still something missing. something she had only began to figure this trip.
she shook the thoughts away quickly.
Inrii leaned her elbows on the table and her head on her hands. "why cant it be skill? you think theirs someone who has a purpose or set out plan for your life, apart from just staying alive? or is it you want something and are still seeking it because you've yet to find it?"
she leaned back up again, "ah, why must yall bring up such series topics? now you got me asking those kinda questions. before long im gunna go sane if yall keep this up," she had to throw in. (yes i put sane on purpose...

)

some of the patrons left for the night, a couple stumbling out. the rogues in the back still hunched continued to watch the companions. one became bored and headed upstairs. he figured he'd work while the others just sat their.
the waitress made her rounds again, going from table to table, cleaning up glasses and plates.

He smiled hearing her and spoke" A bit of both actually, but no it is more of searching for a reason to live and exist." He shrugged slowly" I do wonder how one with such sentient thought could live for so long and remain sane." he shrugged waving it off slightly" Well, up to you when and how we do this."

Aurora issued a low laugh at both Zek's and Inrii's remarks, getting a raised brow from Veraka. The storm warrior turned to regard Inrii, giving her a curious glance.

"Being a powerful fighter with no sense of honor or code is one thing, but being a storm warrior builds itself upon the foundation of a paladin; Yes, I do have a code that I live by, it's just one that you would find in any god's or goddess's domain or dogma."

To Zek, "You, too sporadic; I suppose that could make sense, but you could also look at it like this; your skills alone kept you alive for however many years that you've walked the grounds beneath you, yes. With those skills however, comes the knowledge that is granted for more than one reason; so yes, I think your assessment of luck being granted to you is not that far off."
He gave a quizzical look to Inrii, "if you consider this serious, then I'm a monkey's uncle, at least an sane, to start with. Oh no, Inrii going sane; Toril is doomed," he commented sarcastically.

Veraka turned his thoughts to the rogues that Inrii had pointed out earlier; "well, we know that they're gonna attack us as soon as we set foot outside the establishment, so I propose we set a trap," he replied, a grin starting to form on his lips.

Inrii just shrugged. she didnt really care either way, just curious. it wasnt like paladins were a thing among Jaelre. all she knew as the few encountered in human villages.
"of course Zek, you been around all this time just so you could be here this moment, and you end up get stuck with us," she quipped and patted her pouch that held the lizard. she had a hidden smile before continuing, "and yes Veraka," she said now looking as if studying to compare him to one. "sometimes remind me of an ape. i can see the ears there and..," she chuckled to let it go. they had to get back to 'work.'

Inrii looked around thinking of a good place to ambush their ambush. then thought about the streets and alleys surounding the small inn. she leaned in, lowered her voice and spoke in drow so no one could overhear them.
"we could send veraka out into a good alley since thats where they will attempt anyway, and Zek can follow in the shadows, maybe cast an illusion of yourself and me to look like all three of us are there. then I will be invisible and strike before they can also, with Zek. Veraka and Aurora turn on them and subdue them. of course we dont kill them right away. then we let zek do his thing and extract the info, find the back door, pop in, have a little fun..."
Inrii also had another idea. she still had the priestess costume and a whip she rarely used. and disguising herself as a lolthite when entering might would cause some havoc, some chaos in there to draw out this Neriah.

Veraka looked to Inrii with a look that said 'fun'.
Leaning in to Inrii and Zek, he spoke softly, "So, illusions of the both of you to accompany me and the furball down a nice alleyway, then we ambush their ambush, ehh? Ok, well then, I'm off."
With that, the aasimar rose and proceeded toward the door with Aurora in tow.
