"my disposal?" a wicked glee of what she could do crossed her face, her thin lips curling into a cruel smile.
Then they gave him a look, at his comment.
"well lets see this 'mistress' of your, then and satiate my curosity."
--
"everyone finds their place soon."
She turns to leave, allowing the aasimir to contemplate and think.
soon many of the students mosyed-on back to their rooms and all but 1 was gone. he stood their looking at the floor using his foot to draw on the stone.

"Of course; if you will allow me to use your scrying bowl; I believe that is the most adequate means of contacting her," Dacuda said in matter-of-fact tone.

Veraka noticed that one student remained when all the others had gone either to bed, or somewhere else; the young one was drawing into the stone with his foot.

[i:mekcnhej]What an odd thing to do; and why is this young one still here?[/i:mekcnhej] Veraka thought to himself as he made his way over to the young drow.
"Hey, why aren't you heading out with the rest of your classmates?" the armored tank asked the young male.

Mae'Vir leads her two guest to the chapel.
it is a vast room, able to hold hundreds of bodies. the rooms is full of motifs of the twisted drow history, battles against numerous races, and of course spiders.
up front their is a raised platform that contains a onyx altar stained from sacrifices. behind looms a large carved statue of a spider with a beautiful elven head.
Mae'Vir leads them to the large bowl situated on an adamantine stand on the side of the altar. She stands on the raised platform before the bowl. and whispers in high drow. she walks twords the left side to fill the jar with water.
She pours the water into the bowl. then opens a vial containing a dark fluid and pours it into the water.
she again speaks in high drow to activate the bowl.
--
the drowling continues to look at the floor.
"I..like your style. fight I mean it suits your size and..." he pauses not sure what to say.

Dacuda looks to Matron Mae'Vir for confirmation that he may use the scrying device; he had learned a long time ago to [b:2kz00cvy]always[/b:2kz00cvy] acquire a ,matron mother's permission before doing anything within their house.

He had to admire Mae'Vir's chapel; everything about it spoke Lolth, [i:2kz00cvy]not that I'm surprised; Lolth has made it very apparent that she loves chaos. What better way to express it.[/i:2kz00cvy]
[i:2kz00cvy]Mistress Ahuanatae will be most pleased upon seeing my success, especially for this particular matter.[/i:2kz00cvy]

Veraka looked puzzuled at the remark of the drowling; "and what my friend? You sound as if you've got an internal conflict, or a very deep qeustion on your mind."

Matron Mae'Vir sees he wants to use the bowl. but only a select few are capable because of the uniqueness.
she indicates with her hand. she also uses this to assess and evaluate the vampire before her.
the other matron stands annoyed at this. she needed to get back and get her soldiers ready for tonight.
--
"I...dont do well with their fighting ways. and you are,...big, like me, sorta. so i mean, i wonder if you can show me how you fight, maybe?"
--
Zarae feels tired, drained from everything. She finally mosey-ons back to her room.
Shade goes back to her plane as Zarae plops on her confortable bed. checking if her dagger is under the pillow, she does off into reverie.

The vampire stepped forward to scrying bowl upon receiving the go-ahead from Matron Mae'Vir; chanting in a ritualistic-type of voice, "Mistress Ahuanatae, I ask to see you, so that your eyes may look upon this humble servant; and to prove your existence to Matron Mae'Vir this night."

The bowl swirled and within its dark waters came the image of female daemon fey (half-demon, half-elf).
"Ahh, Dacuda I see that you have had success in your venture to eliminate that meddlesome pest of ours," Ahuanatae spoke in her usual commanding voice; "and I see that you have met with Matron Mae'Vir. Greetings, Matron mother of House Mae'Vir," she said as she turned to regard Mae'Vir.

"You wish for me to teach you my style of fighting?" Veraka asked back, a little baffled at the fact that he had just been asked to teach his way of fighting. He looked the drow over for a second, taking in his physique; "well you do have the size for it," he admitted; " you really wish for me to instruct you my art of fighting?"

"Vendui Ahuanatae. so your male wants a deal between our houses(?)..."
--
the male nods more eagerly. excitement replacing sleepiness.
Erelae walks thru the corriders to see one of the boys up chatting with the warrior. she pauses a minute before continuing her rounds.

"So to speak, Mae'Vir; though I prefer to think of it as my way of saying that you will be in Lolth's favor should you succeed."

Veraka sensed the excitment in the young one, so he decided to the hells with it. [i:2lwjnms2]I suppose it's one thing I can do while I stay here.[/i:2lwjnms2]
"Alright then, first you're going to need a weapon, preferably something like the Dark Maiden's weapon of choice."

she cocks an eyebrow. their was no doubt she was in Lloth's favor, for now.
but that was the point of destroying the 2nd house, the female of the prophesy. someone from the second house was to bring a new order of chaos to Lith My'Athlar. or so the fickle goddess said.
"and what do you propose?"
--
He nods and heads to the weapon racks. he picks a large two handed sword, the one he trains with and heads back. he yawns, but is eager.

((and i yawn as i write this...lol...wow it's late...))

"Simple, Mae'Vir; take my pawn, Dacuda. Use him to eliminate your targets; once that has been accomplished, assist him in either destroying or hunting down the target that I have assigned him to eliminate. I will give you the specific's only after I've heard your answer. Should you decide to accept, keep this in mind; I meet Lolth on a basis that makes this little endeavor well worth your effort." Ahuanatae waited for the Matron mother's response.

Veraka watched the eager drow grab a two-handed blade off of the rack and come back.
"That should be decent for what I will show you."

Mae'Vir liked the idea of using the male, until his use ran out.
"very well, he can kill as many of Kilanatlar soliders as he want," directed to dacuda. "but Matron Shyntyl is mine" she says all there, "the daughters are to be captured alive. do what you want with the males."
Matron X'larraz'et'soj knew of this already. they disscussed it in their council meeting.
--
he nodded eagerly and brung it up into position.
"shouldnt you be resting?" came a voice behind them.
another one of the leaders, a drow/wild elf stood there.

(eh i'll have to think of a name. hopefully i can get my files back...)

"Very well, Mae'Vir, since you have agreed to my proposal, here is what I want you to assist my underling with; recently, Dacuda has tracked an assimar to your city; this spawn of a celestial has caused me and my consort no end of trouble; I want you to either eliminate him, or help Dacuda capture him. Be warned Mae'Vir this assimar is not to be taken lightly; he has great capabilities, some of which rival or beat those of your most powerful priestesses."

Turning to Dacuda, she said "you have your orders from the Matron Mother, do not disappoint either of us, lest I come down to rectify your errors,' and with that, the scrying pool swirled, becoming it's normal dark waters.
The elite vampire smiled at the orders that Matron Mae'Vir gave him, "as you wish, matron Mae'Vir."

Veraka drew Marala Vharc and was about to begin his little 'teaching' session with his eager new student when a voice came from behind them;
The aasimar looked to see a half-drow/wild elf instructor moving towards them.
"Forgive us, but we were just about to commence," he said to the leader.

Mar'Vir cursed silently. no one reported an incident of such a surfacer. it would make her look bad. when she found those, they will wish for the sweet release of death.
"come, let us finish planning." at least using the male would bring some pleasure of the ordeal.
She lead them thru a portal gate and entered the chamber. around the spidershaped table was the city archmage, the commander of soliders, and her daughters all discussing battle stratigies and ways to break thru the house.
--
she nodded for them to continue and watched as the aasimir lead the boy thru basic motions at first.
She was glad someone could teach this boy a way to fight that fit him.

"Very well, Matron Mae'Vir; lead on," the vamp said; he had to admit, he was half-tempted to assist Mae'Vir anyways, without any cost. [i:1pqibjba]This is simlpey getting to entertaining to pass up; plus chances are that I'll encounter that Veraka fellow when they attack the second house anyway.[/i:1pqibjba]

Dacuda followed Mae'Vir and the other matron mother to the war, where an archmage, a general and all her daughters were waiting.
[i:1pqibjba]Quite the family, I see, including members of the Red Sisters; Mae'Vir, my dear, your tastes [b:1pqibjba]have[/b:1pqibjba] broadened.[/i:1pqibjba]

Veraka was impressed by the young ones prowess; not only did he have the strength, but also the will to learn; for the first time in a long time, Veraka actually had to put power behind his attacks and defense.
"Impressive; you have the ability, that much I cannot deny. Now let's see if can hold your own against one who uses dual-wielding weapons," the assimar commented as he drew his short sword. He launched himself into a series of powered, blitzkrieg-style attacks, pressing the young one onto the defensive. One, two, one, two; the aasimar came in hard and fast, driving hard to breach the young ones defenses.

((i've confused myself on time, but it like early morning, like our 0400...maybe a bit earlier. some post are prolly off so when i can, i'll go back and fix them.))

the boy kept up well, even got on the offensive once or twice.
he throughly enjoyed this. they continued for good time. soon the boy was obviouly warn out.
--
the archmage acknowledged his mother and the matron, then gave a confused look to the guest. the daughters were used to such things and continued to focus on their stategies.
"the house is built into the mantle. so they have a huge advantage over us in that. here, is most vulnerable. but we have numbers on our side. plus him," the eldest daughter said pointing to her brother. "he will enter the etheral plane and enter the house. it's risky but we have managed an advantage..."
