[i:3nkkhe8f]Drinking? More like smoking weed... if not some odd trees.[/i:3nkkhe8f] Her slanted eyes narrowed as she watched those ropes loosen and fall off, her thin nimble fingers clutched the little pebble tightly as the elf was ready to react if needed.

She was still clutching at Ryl's arm with her other hand, giving a thoughtful look toward Onyx, glancing to Scar sidelongs nonetheless. [i:3nkkhe8f]Well.. I guess I have to stick with the cool kids then?[/i:3nkkhe8f] Lynx looked between the drow-blooded teammates and smirked a little, then shrugged, not bothered much, the time spent by Ryltar's side taught her to appreciate the company of ilythiiri despite of the risks coming along with it.

[i:3nkkhe8f]So what happens now? Are we going to just dangle here until you manage to find where the bug is?[/i:3nkkhe8f] She smirked softly, being a little sarcastic. [i:3nkkhe8f]Besides, I think we all need a time for proper introductions.[/i:3nkkhe8f]

Ryltar grumbled a bit at Lynx's explanation. He didn't like it when he didn't know something, and he'd definitely would need to study the information held within the ship to get a better feel for things. He'd calm abit, in Lynx's embrace before doing so full as he got his bearings for the weightless environment. [i:kb1ry6cl]Yes, Introductions would be good I think. Now that noone is trying to kill us. I'm Ryltar of Battledale. [/i:kb1ry6cl]

Lothir snickers at Lynx's comment. "Perhaps he had a few mushrooms that alter one's perceptions? I accidentally had one of those once, and ended up talking to a roast rothe head and chasing after dancing crabs under the banquet table."

Onix looked to Lothir and shrugged his shoulders, while tapping a finger to his wrist gauntlet in one quick move. Right then, gravity came back on as the deck plates rebooted and charged the artificial gravity generators.
Onix, Edge, Ironside, and Stalker landed reflexively on their feet as the sensation of being pulled down took over.

Pyro was still chatting with Zarae when his senses went hyper; being pulled down while at a very odd angle, Pyro tucked inward and hit the deck-plates with a well practiced roll, coming out of it standing. Turning to regard his squad leader, Pyro gave him an ancient, arcane gesture, to which Onix grinned back at.
"Damn asshole," Pyro muttered to himself.

Onix turned to look at Lothir, "wish granted," he said, then heard Lynx's comment about introductions.

"Actually, funny thing you should ask, Lynx, because Hawk just buzzed me and said that we're approaching my mothership now; so we can have intros now, or wait till we're on-board a much [b:gfkxyr6e]bigger[/b:gfkxyr6e] craft."

Onix turned to look out a view-port and then said "Well, there she is, ladies and gents, [b:gfkxyr6e]this[/b:gfkxyr6e] is the [i:gfkxyr6e]Nighthammer[/i:gfkxyr6e]."

Outside in front of the gunship, a wedged-shaped metallic ship came into view. The ship was easily the size of a large asteroid, as it measured 13 kilometers from stem to stern, slowly glided through space, blocking out the stars behind it. The massive assault-carrier sported at least six shielded hanger bays along its starboard side, which was the angle the gunship holding the group was coming in from.
Nighthammer[/url:gfkxyr6e]

As the gunship moved in closer, the [i:gfkxyr6e]Nighthammer[/i:gfkxyr6e] seemed to fill up the windows. The ship was bristling with plasma batteries, rail-cannons, particle-beam batteries cannons and heavy torpedo tubes along it's port and starboard sides, with each of those turrets bigger than the gunship that the group was sailing through space in. The weapons of the ship were so numerous that if anyone attempted to count them, they'd reach into the thousands.

The most prominent weaponry, however were the eight huge cannons that were affixed to the upper and lower starboard side of the ship, though the ship carried sixteen such weapons. Each of the massive rail-cannons were at one and a half kilometers long, with barrels measuring twice the size of the gunship, maybe bigger, in diameter. HVG idea[/url:gfkxyr6e]

"That, my friends, is one of about 15 [i:gfkxyr6e]Depraedor[/i:gfkxyr6e]-class heavy assault-carriers, the [i:gfkxyr6e]Nighthammer[/i:gfkxyr6e], my mothership." As Onix said this, his voice carried with it a hint of pride.

"Ahh, it feels good to be home," came Stalker's voice from behind Onix.

"I'll drink to that," Ironside chimed in, raising his hand in the air.

"Ahhh, it'll be good to get on-board," Pyro said from where he was, near Zarae.

"I'll have to agree with Pyro for oncef," came Edge's voice, with a slight hint of relief.

Onix had to smile as he watched the reaction of his newly found friends.

As soon as Onix tapped his wrist, the bard felt the gravity come back, and realized he was starting to fall. Instinctively, he let his natural levitation to halt his fall. "Well, you could have warned us, you know," he said sarcastically.

As Onix went to the window and showed them all the ship, he gaped at it, and most especially at the weapons. "You were not joking, were you?" he exclaimed. "I stand by my earlier statement- he most assuredly would want to get his hands on THAT ship! By the gods, I didn't think one that size could exist..." He stared at it in silence as it came closer into view, a look of intense scrutiny and deep thought on his face.

Drakin said, "As far as I know, with the monk, it could very well be some kind of plant that he may have smoked, or might be his amnesia, I haven't figured which yet. The only time you have to worry about his randomness is when it doesn't sound random anymore, in which case it's already too late."

As the gravity turned back on, Drakin landed balanced on the balls of his feet. Grisnaw on the other hand wasn't so fortunate. He was in the middle of doing a flip when the gravity was turned on. After a few seconds of paniced flapping, he crashed head first into the floor.

[i:3onwoun2]Feather Fall![/i:3onwoun2] Lynx squeaked, grasping at Ryltar's arm, as she felt they were falling onto the floor after floating up to the ceiling. The command word worked as a charm, allowing the two land softly onto their feet.

Then she let go of the drow and shook her head a bit at Onix before moving to the window after him and Lothir. Her eyes opened wider and a quiet sigh escaped her as she admired the visage of the giant spaceship. She was in love.

Scar crashed to the floor not expecting the gravity to be turned back on.

"Holy Laogzed, damn the pretty leaping troglodytes that ate my raccoon!" He yells

Scar slowly pulls himself and starts muttering gibberish to himself and shaking his head.

"Daxamn bungick dockuins axarwaxays oaxatick zo celpsos, pi taxarkick 'fuk zo jaxaffol. Din zo whoaxalt eb zo foaxal werb dis je velo." he mutters.

He starts pacing around in circles, rubbing his temples as he does so. Scar stops and turns toward Drakin.

"How many leaves have fallen on your head today?" he asks and giggles a little bit. "None! No trees have smoked by me!"

As the gravity came back on rather suddenly, Ryltar would let out a yelp of suprise before the slow fall spell took effect. As he glided down to his feet, he'd glare daggers at Onix. [i:1y9imz84]Never do that again without warning![/i:1y9imz84]

Lynx snickered softly at Ryltar and nudged him a little with her hip, nodding to the magnificent sight of the mothership in the window, knowing it'd distract the mage.

Onix chuckled to Ryltar and Lothir; "Forgive me, but the bard [b:2kt3rv8u]did[/b:2kt3rv8u] ask for it, I merely granted his wish," he said with a smirk, then his visage resumed to all seriousness as he saw some fighters zooming towards the gunship.

"Hawk, what's going on?" the clone asked the pilot, his voice on edge.

"[i:2kt3rv8u]Nighthammer[/i:2kt3rv8u] fighter command has dispatched a fighter escort to bring us in, these are our honor guard you could say," the pilot replied.

Onix let out a sigh of relief as the squadron of fighters circled about the gunship and formed up all around it, like a protective shield. The fighters kept pace with the gunship, their ion-engine trials illuminating the space outside the gunships view-ports.

Onix glanced back to the [i:2kt3rv8u]NIghthammer[/i:2kt3rv8u], noting several very new blackened regions along the hull, the blotches were about as big as gunship itself, some even bigger.
"Strange, I thought we were the only ones who actually made it through that odd portal that sent us here," the clone breathed to himself, noting how recent the carbon-scoring was along the hull; no more than a few hours old at best.

Noting Lynx's reaction, he grinned and asked; "like what you see?"

Stalker took note of the monk's very odd and very weird outbursts; "are you alright?" the sniper asked Scar.

"If by 'asked for it', you mean REQUESTED, then yes. But that was still a low trick, abbil," says the bard in a tone of mock severity. "And if I wanted my wishes granted, I'd use my pendant. It still has two left."

He looks out at the small ships coming out to guide the gunship into the Nighthammer, and then slowly moves over to another window, where he stares back down at the planet for a long moment. At last, he turns around, and his gaze sweeps over everyone present.

"Look down there," he says, not loudly, but in a tone that is intended to get their attention. He points out the window at Toril. "All of you- take a good long look. Because that's why we're all here. I don't know why most of you THINK you are here right now, but I believe in fate, and right now, whether any of you realize it or not, the fate of the world we all call home is in our hands. We are up here because whoever sent those THINGS-" he points at the shrunken leecher, "is still out there somewhere, and there may be more of those monsters. if even ONE of them escapes, then everything any of us cares about will be gone."

He pauses to let that sink in, and it's clear that he has something important on his mind. "In spite of all the banter and the jokes, I DO care about Toril. I talk about my home, but the truth is, this world IS my home now, and I will be DAMNED before I will let it be destroyed by ANYONE. So you should all take a moment to think about what we are doing here. Because like it or not, we are the only hope this world has right now. And that worrys me. If we fail to find and destroy those eggs, our home and everything we know will be lost. I've already done things I can't take back while fighting those bastards, and maybe we all will before this is over. I hope you all understand what that means, because as much as I hate to admit it, those things scare me. Not because I'm afraid to fight them, but because I'm afraid of what will happen if we let even ONE get away. If one gets loose in the Underdark, it could go anywhere, and we'd never find it- and for those who have seen what they can do, I don't think I need to tell you what that means. Either we get them ALL, or we might as well kiss this world goodbye now."

He glances back down at the planet again, shaking his head. "I'm not about to loose another home- not to those things. what about the rest of you?"

[quote:2dv7uxyt]but let's say within the same realm?" [/quote:2dv7uxyt]
she shurgged, "if you mean like this, then no. I have been in the transitive planes, like the Plan of shadows once or twice."
there was more to this but she didnt devolge(i think thats the word) anymore.
[quote:2dv7uxyt]Oh, and no, Ma'am, this is merely proper military conduct around non-military persons,[/quote:2dv7uxyt]
"oh, and I dont seam like military?" she joked, "I can bet my training was not so much different," then she whispered and winked "and less 'honorable.'"
it was more for effect than anything; she liked to keep people on their toes. and probably a way to keep people distant. she noramally made (somewhat poor) jokes when nervous or a bit uneasy.

the sensation of being pulled appeared and the rogue knew they had revered the effects of earlier. a slightest bit of noise escaped as she quickly activated her levitation before smacking into the floor. slowly lowering herself, she landed with not a sound softly. others already expressing her opinions of the 'no warning.'
she saw the approaching ship thru a window and made way to it, watching as it double, tripled in size in minutes. her eyes, if they could be seen, were very violet at the moment as she gazed at it.

The elf looked to Onix, her expression was rather dreamy. [i:4ttfgd2q]You know, Ive always hoped to become a gatecrasher. Travel between the planes, visiting different realms... The Arborea... The Beastlands... Celestia and the Outlands... But this is even greater. This is all been created by science, it is a pure knowledge of mortals that was used to create something ...so sophisticated.[/i:4ttfgd2q] Her forehead wrinkled in thought a little. [i:4ttfgd2q]Doubt I can explain it better than it. It's not... 'liking'. It's more.[/i:4ttfgd2q]

Then Lynx looked to Lothir and offered a nod. [i:4ttfgd2q]But yes, back to the task at hand. The creatures should be located and dealt with. I should 'ransack' the vessel quick too in a search of reagents for the spells.[/i:4ttfgd2q]

Ryltar's own eys widened at the size of the ship they were heading towards. He'd shake his head a few moments, wondering just what other secrets were held out in the void, or hidden behind some shadows. [i:1do29zew]This will definitely be a long trip for us, Lynx.[/i:1do29zew] He remarked. When she mentioned reagents, the drow would then scowl. [i:1do29zew]Yes, we should start to aquire some for our spells. Is there some sort of map of this ship anywhere?[/i:1do29zew]
