Eron brings his cloak back tro him. Starts to colect his fallen gear, bow and dagger.
Tarvis steps to the edge of the pit and stands ready with staff to knock them back if the get too close to getting out.
I think you will stay there awhile until we decide what to do with you. Death would be quick, a bargin for information and aid might save your lives. Your conduct controls your fate.
Slog, Bludgeon I want to learn if I can, however kil any that try to leave the pit with out my permission.
Lady Daleah could you tell me why you do not want to kill them, is there a good reason to keep them alive?
Elron reminds Keep an eye on the injured ones as well.

Re: Daleah the Faithful
Daleah steps forward like a soldier to address Tarvis much like a subordinate in rank might address their commander or chief.
Sir Tarvis, I have taken an oath in a moment of desperation and grief at the loss of my drow parents who adopted me. Sadly, the dead were my the only witnesses. Nevertheless, the battle was a case of mistaken identities. The dark elves of my family were believed to be a faction of Underdark assassins. All souls on both sides were lost that day, I was the only one left alive. After burying the dead I left, not knowing where I should go. I stopped to rest under a hollowed tree and found a Book of Exalted Deeds. I took this as a sign that I should follow the vision of virtue and guidance for besting evil printed upon its pages. Once reading the book I could not stop until I ingested its knowledge. Its retained within my being...and....the book...disappeared as I closed the cover.
She then stands at ease, like the military stance, her feet apart and hands resting behind her back, her eyes straight forward, awaiting his responce.

Re: Road Trip!
Bludgeon moves to the right side of Tarvis, closer to the pit with her pitchfork extended in front of her, ready to pierce them on strike.
Slog also steps closer to the pit on Tarvis' left side. His halberd in hand.
Slog make sure goblin dont escape!
Llelanni moves closer to the dead goblins, readying a spell should any move or revive from the dead.

We just want..
The cart goblin claps his hands over the speaking goblin's mouth, the first fallen into the pit.
Shut up, Puc! I'm the boss so I do the talking!
Puc's yellow eyes cut backward as he nods wildly, readily accepting the leader's instruction. The cart goblin narrows his eyelids, looking to the greedy goblin.
That goes for you too, Pox! You got that?!
Greedy Pox nods as well to his superior.
Yes Pug, you're the boss.
Pug, the leader, releases his hands from Puc's face and looks to address Tarvis, pointing a clawed finger at him.
You're in no position to bargain with us! We have nothing to offer!
At the moment, nothing but a lonely windy blows throught the bare branches of the trees along the trail.

Re: Silent Slough
Tarvis considers the answers he receives and decides he is dealing with a strange situation.
Lady Daleah, Does your book say you can not let us kill foes?
Looking at Pug
Commander Pug, should we should just kill you because you lost the battle and know nothing so have no desire to leave? That will be easy to arrange. I was not sure I could trust you to be left alive, however you make that bargain unnecessary.
All you need to do is say Yes and my orc friends will kill you.
Tarvis holds his staff ready and trusts that Slog and Bludgeon will be as willing to kill the prisoners as he is.
Elron Still watching for any danger from afar or fallen also watches Daleah for her reply about killing the goblins. In case she might be so conflicted to interfere in killing the captives.
Though almost any bargain with them would be short term, a bargain is preferred to execution.

Re: Daleah the Faithful
Daleah considers Tarvis question while looking down to the goblins below.
If they surrender, there is opportunity for them to seek redemption, perhaps even escape eternal torment and damnation in the Lower Planes.
The paladin looks back up to face Tarvis, her expression is one of mild sorrow.
Maybe I should take a walk and consider whether these goblins are even capable of seeking redemption. After all, they seem to be unfit, moraly weak, unable to fight against evil inclinations. It would be just awful if something were to happen to them while I was away...yes, it would be a supreme tragedy to lose more precious souls. Too bad there will be nothing I can do to save them.
Daleah turns away, walking toward and alongside the trail.

Re: Goblin Up Time
Pug snaps with heated retort.
Hey, who you calling weak, unfit, and unable, Missy?! At least we don't need beasts of burden to fight our battles!
Puc, the first fallen into the pit, claps back despite his bosses warnings.
HELP!!! I don't want to exist in eternal torment! I want to be free! Please! Don't leave me alone to die with Pug!
The greedy Pox also screams from the bottom of the pit.
Pug beats us! Takes all the food for himself! We would rather be slaves to outsiders than pushed around by our own!
Pug, caught off guard by the insubordination and rebellion of his peers, snatches away Puc's dagger.
You two will pay for double crossing me!
Pug suddenly nicks one of his fellow goblins in his neck artery, the other in his leg artery with the blade, creating conditions for both an agonizing, certain death.
With the blood of his fellows spurting, covering the pit floor with a slick, hot, pool, Pug leaps for the back side of the pit, trying to claw his way up the top in an attempt to escape. With narrowed eyelids over yellow eyes and an angry face, he screams out explitives to the group of adventurers above.
I'll get you for this! I'll get you all!

Re: Road Trip!
Bludgeon makes quick work of the little goblin's reign of terror. She moves quickly a few steps to the far edge of the pit, inserting her pitchfork into the evading goblin's ribcage from the back like hunting fish in a barrel. The orc woman lifts the weapon up in the air and taps the handle forcefully on the ground, compressing the goblin's body lower on the prongs, more securely.
No, you wont.
A deep grimace on Slog's face, he says nothing.
Hearing the sounds near the pit, Llelanni raises her snow white eyebrows but keeps her eyes focused the trail.

Re: Daleah the Faithful
The paladin, hearing the screams by the pit, spins around on her heel. She had only walked a few yards away before the incident occurred.
Her heart pounds, the palms of her hands throb, her breathing increases, and thoughts return to the possibility of helping someone whether it be one of the adventurers or goblins that might be in trouble. Daleah hurries quickly back to the pit to find out what has happened. She pays no heed to the goblin on the orcs pitchfork.
Seeing the horrible sight of the dying goblins, she is still hopeful the two below can be healed. She turns to Tarvis with trembling lips and pleading eyes, for it is apparent she desires to give assistance and bind their wounds.
Sir Tarvis, will you have mercy on these two small souls? May I at least have your permission to treat their wounds or give them comfort in their final breaths?
Daleah realizes this may be a longshot, but with a little hope in her heart, maybe, as Leader, and as a fellow human, Tarvis might have some compassion for these poor, depraved little creatures.

Tarvis with staff was a close second to striking at the goblin, however as the need is gone, brings it to rest.
A rather messy way to treat ones own. Yes Lady Daleah you can see if you can help those two

Re: Goblin Up Time
Pox and Puc will surely die, given the severity if the bodily damages. However, they are willing to accept any aid to relieve their symptoms.
Pox has dropped his fellow's belongings. He splits a shirt in half, using one half to bind Puc's neck wound.
Puc has taken his own shirt to bind Pox's leg wound.
As the two lay dying and looking up they see the paladin but have lost most of their strength to react.
Pug is officially dead, unable to speak as the prongs of the orc woman's pitchfork silenced his ambitions.
With the sun rising higher in the sky, back birds descend upon the trail to feast upon the goblin corpses.

Re: Daleah The Faithful
Daleah knelt in the dim light of the deep hole, her heart is heavy as she assesses the grim scene before her. The two goblins lay sprawled on the cold ground, their bodies marred by their severe wounds. Dark stains of blood pool beneath them. Despite her desperate prayers and fervent desire to mend their injuries, the life force is already ebbing away, their breaths growing shallow and rasping. The paladin rummages through her pack, pulling a frayed blanket to drape over their shivering forms, the warmth of her touch is a stark contrast to the chill of their impending fate. With gentle, healing hands, she cradles their heads, whispering soothing words of comfort, promising them peace and giving encouragenent in their final moments. As their eyes flutter with pain, she summons the strength of her mercy, speaking to them of valor and acceptance, hoping to ease their transition from the tumult of life into whatever awaits them beyond. In that brief, shared moment, the barrier of their adversarial histories fades, leaving only the profound humanity of compassion in the face of tragedy and death.
They embraced what was most important in life, the care for their fellow.
She wipes a tear from her cheek with her wrist.
Puc and Pox tried selflessly to help one another in their final moments. They have expressed no greater love than to sacrifice all they had left to aid each other.
The paladin sniffs, bowing her head and closing her eyes.
May they rest in peace and saving grace.
With one hand, Daleah grabs hold of the top of the hole, her other hand reaching for assistance from anyone who will help her out.

Re: Road Trip!
Bludgeon grunts, looking down into the pit, not understanding all this tah-doo over evil goblins. Nevertheless, she crouches down to lift Daleah up by the hand. Once the armored woman is out of the hole, Bludgeon flips her pitchfork around and scrapes the dead goblin off into the pit.
Slog's red eyes look to Tarvis.
Leader Tarvis, this good place to bury goblin bodies.
Llelanni doesnt seem interested in the events.
She gives Cervid an apple while still watching over the dead goblins and stepping aside for carrion birds near the trail.

Tarvis nods at Slog's suggestion and then issues his orders.
Slog this is as good a place for them to be buried. If the cart is repaired certainly you can help bury them. They did not have much but we might as well take anything they had that can be useful.
Of course the other bodies to be collected.
Elron keep watch , the rest of us will take care of the bodies. I want to be able to get going as quick as we can.
The rest of you please help where you can to get us ready to move. Search , repair or help bury as you can.
He walks over to the one he killed and does a quick search and then carries over to the pit*grave.

Re: Daleah The Faithful
Daleah turns to face and address the orc man.
Slog, may I help you gather, prepare the dead, and assist with the burial?
The donkeys, feeling relieved and no longer sensing danger, move back toward the apple cart. One is more friendly in nature and willing to be harnessed. He is the Jack. The other one, that first encountered Tarvis, is the Jenny. She follows him to the trail as he retrieves the goblin body.
