OOC, Red Eye

When you want to ask out of character questions, discuss plots, talk about roleplaying or simply present your character’s bio, this is the place to do so. Small OOC bits may be accepted in the roleplaying forums, but this is the place for the larger posts. Do keep the topics related to the roleplaying however, otherwise go to the General Discussion forum.

OOC, Red Eye

Post by Bhaern Quel »

Okay I started it based on last post I made other side (with some minor typing corrections, not sure I got them all) that provides a partial overview of current status, I will revise the post with any requests to provide a better pisture. For example I did not place all the named characters, whom is at River, how many have taken off clothes. In someways I get the imperssion that Tymer (as a character, not the player) is no longer hide near the cave, because of the request to pre vampire time made my him for Wildwood main.

Side note: Can restart the Wildwood temple as well if SS wants to continue there, currently only three players nfully engaged (though Tymer did have the one Priestess as well). The temple might not be needed until Vanessa returns to it, or of course can continue.

I think it would be best if we erased all present and future mention of Stan, Tyrmer or Arveene from the clan (besides that Tyrmer bumped into them and mucked with the fight).
Titles:

Master of the Lady's Dances
Recoverer of the Tome of Moonlight
Scribe of the Dark Maiden's Temple

This is not a problem for me at all, the last vist was barely noticed at all. If I failed to edit that I will check and make sure that current status does not include Stan, et. al.

One problem I did notice in your IC post, was passing though central cavern where a fight is brewing between Katze, Ehatz (did I spell that correctly?) and unnamed female orc over body of dead orc. Vanessa wants the body burned, the unnamed female orc wants food.

Hope its alright if I invent that the clan also has a weaponry and armor shortage? It would make sense, as for a while they have been failing in many other things.

It would just give Kaggy a goal for now, and that way with Vanessa's new technology they can become nicely armed..... once they start getting new ores and things.

Well the sheild was in poor shape, the spear head in poor shape, so it is not too much of a strech to say most weapons and armor are in poor shape. Not a problem at all.

Creating a remake of Kagurd's bio, as in the last few days hes changed a suprising amount, and adding a description.

Kagurd has an unmistakable love for the clan. His whole loyalty is to the good of the clan. The realisation that he was indirectly aiding in the slow dead of the clan by his late foster fathers attempts to take control has only made him more headstrong and determined in this. Rather young, only half way through his 15th year, he has been trained since birth in the ways of a warrior and is suprisingly a natural leader, though he still needs time to grow into any real leadership positions. He hopes to one day become Chief of the Red Eyes, yet has no pretence of being ready for the role yet, nor any plans to overthrow Snarg, having a great and only growing respect for his leader. He favors an orcish double axe and any armor handy.
He, as Orogs tend to be, is a fair bit taller than any in the clan. His build is big and solid, a towering creature of muscle which belies his speed and keen intelect (For an orc or orog anyway). His black hair is simply cut and short with trimmed sideburns (Think wolverine/logan :D ). He is, while amongst orcs wouldn't be concidered ugly, is certainly not concidered handsome by most.

I'm not certain, but from what I know Orcs (And I'm assuming, Orogs) only live to about 40 usualy, and so my guess is in translation he would be about the equivelent to a 20 yr old human. If anyone knows better then please let me know so I can put a more appropriate age.

I'm no expert, but I thought orcs could live about as long as humans. they're just so busy killing each other most of the time that they never do.

Best I can tell orcs, live the same age as half-orcs, at least one subrace of them do. I posted on the other side a WotC link concerning the subrace. If you want a cut back between human, half orc and orc the numbers I would propose are this.

Adult Middle Age Old Venerable Maximum Age
Human 15 35 53 70 90
Half-Orc 14 30 45 60 80
Percent 0.933333333 0.857142857 0.849056604 0.857142857 0.888888889
Orc 13.06666667 25.71428571 38.20754717 51.42857143 71.11111111
This would lead to a sligtly shorter time to reach adulthood, but not much for an Orc.

Not sure what I can do with an Orog because not sure of life span of an ogre, but I might find it later.

Named tribe members.

From 2nd "A typical ogre's life span is 90 years"

Which is slightly better then an orc or half orc.

Oh sort waiting for Tymer to post something.

Tyner, Er Bruurrn did not yet reach central cave let alone see Grona's cave. Flame elves do not walk that fast. You can watch the female flame elf without distraction, except perhaps from Vanessa or Grona.

Oh: SS you appear to be making Hagalaz a little more abused each post, perhaps Rez-frahl will care more for her welfare. Dragin of course does not care as he just wants to beat up a female and he is forbiden to beat up his mate now.
