The Unbearable Lightness of Kraevek Delmond
Posted: Wed Sep 15, 2010 7:08 pm
by Kraevek Delmond
Kraevek Delmond has never been chased by orcs. He has never slain or seen a dragon. He isn't the son of a powerful merchant house nor does he hail from the City of Splendors. Kraevek is just a man...in an argument with his uncle, his guardian due to his alcoholic father, and has decided it was time to leave his home and all he knows behind. His uncle supplied him with an old and well worn short sword and bought him a suit of leather armor to wear as he travels. Having no weapon training, Kraevek decided the best method of combat would be to "stick them with the pointy end" or run. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and Kraevek sings a song his father learned in some unspeakable tavern about something called a lobster, and why they all disappeared.

Zarae- define "normal"? LOL, kidding, dearrie. You should know by now: when it comes to gamers, there's NO SUCH THING as "normal"!! Nice PC, BTW....

thank you...i havent really "pictured" Kraevek in my head yet. i'm also curious which RPs are currently "open" vs those that are already mid adventure....hard to tell.

Any RP's by definition and rules of the forum, are technically 'open' it's whether or not you like coming in at mid stride to an RP or not. Truth be told most RP's that are active are either about to end or are in mid root. If you're curious about more RP's then just PM one of the players and they'll give you the details.

Yeah....I think i'll wait for a new one to start up...I don't want to end up running with some lvl 6 PCs or something...even the RPGA looks down on that.

you could always start ur own....many of the more active (and those apparently w/ no life...i can say that b/c i was that way) players will most likely join.
as for picturing just go with what u like or wanna be....

Oh this certainly isn't my first tour in the realms. I grew up on realmslore. From the Harper books to The Ghost King. I was adventuring in Baldur's Gate and Sembia looong before i ever even thought about RP online. I'm just not too happy with 4th ed FR but I understand that it is a new time for heroes in the pen and paper world.
Most of my characters were always the big guy in the front. The party member that wasn't afraid to throw off his swords and armor and wrestle a gray render(and win). So for a bard I'm a bit lost. I'll figure something out and include it in the original post soon.

Hehe. He sounds like your average cute teen kid that just ran away from home, or maybe all the right or wrong reasons.
Brown oddly comes to mind and I don't know why.
But if he's out ' wandering ' around, be it forest, road marsh or meadow.. He's bound to run into Dae'lith at some point. I'd been thinking of just starting a open campsite sort of setting for anyone who felt like it can pass through. Maybe i will now.
Can't wait to come across Kraevek. He sounds like a gem. If a bit rough cut for now.

We shall all find out together. I'm actually putting a character sheet together for him right now...lol. 3rd or 4th ed? Or does it matter?
Also...I'm sure Kraevek is tired of walking..and speed walking away from every grunting, growling shadow in the night. A fire would be most welcome.

Since our patron goddess has been nuked in 4th edition, which I'll speak plainly, has MANY of the Chosen ticked, we prefer to stick by 3.5 rules, just because it's easier.

the game is ACTUALLY much easier to understand and play for new people in 4th...but i understand your choice. i play in 2 groups currently one from 3.5 and one from 4th.
