Evil drow aren't really for me (though I've played one now and again).
Might check it out anyway (though I've got no drow skins or anything yet in SL), but don't play SL that much anymore.

Shir'le you are a most wanted person to play in second life.
Depending on the size of our group there may be a fundraiser to get drow skins.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. We're not just for NWN and NWN2, but for all good drow (and we're welcome to all drow). TheYew extended an invitation to come and take a look at another drow community and roleplay with them; which doesn't have to cost you a dime.
If I had the impression that they're just trying to make money off of us then I'd agree with you, but so far this seems to me like an honest reaching out of their community.

thanks for sticking up for me shirle as a matter of fact the in game currency does cost money but I do plan on giving donations to dedicated players after orientation to buy drow skins, clothing and hair so this is not an add this is an invitation and offer.
By the way the Sim is called Realm of Triskele.
Sirle why not visit yourself you might like what you see.
There are lots of free clothing options available in SL in addition to hair sample i found a good girl drow hair but not a male one yet.
there is a sim called Frebee Isle that has lots of clothing and hair stiles for free. (listed under popular attractions)
i have yet to find a free male drow skin. but i am working on that.
I think restricting Eilsitraee.com gameplay to NWN and NWN2 would be unfair to poeple who dont want to pay for propritary software and its expansions.
Mabey some would agree.
There also happens to be an eilistraee sim on SL server but I dont want you to go to that

go we are reqruiting so come to us
As far as limitations go, there is an honor combat system and combat is baised on skill not advancment in a level.
Weapons do actual damage have sounds and have specific mechanics of use..there is mounted combat.. archery.. dragons who breath fire, swords, sheilds, armor, you can gather equipment for free from local parks in sl but this is all premature i plan on sponsoring a free orintation to second life and triskele.

What do you mean by a download issue the client is about 80MB, Privacy is protected by Linden Labs Inc. and the aplication has a script tool, build tool, and terain tool?
I am just curious to wonder myself i dont mean to offend.
Its is a mmo with sims in it like nwn exept you have a lot more variety to what you play and you dont have to dl hack packs the content is imideatley downloaded to your cashe
id say the only downside to SL is the fact that you start off broke with a stupid avatar and the currency is debited to linden labs at a ate of L$400 = 1USD.
Still there are some sims that have barter currencys like gold points so your not completely lost in spending linden. (the in game currency)
What I would suggest at the bare minimum is if you are the least bit curious and have some time to try a fun free mmo login and visit our Feb 1st orientation.

I know. In fact I've got more free junk than I know what to do with; I [i:2a1teyu7]still[/i:2a1teyu7] haven't sorted through all of it yet.

While that's fair I do think that if you're truly playing SL then you'll end up paying a whole lot more than with the NWN games; for one it has a monthly fee if you want land (and you need land to build anything). With the NWN games you pay once for the main software and are done.
Anyway, I could go on and on comparing NWN and SL, but in te end I think it's just a difference of tastes.

At 50 kps it does take sometime to download.
Privacy *blink* Linden Labs Inc. might be more respected then MicroSoft but I never heard of them and I do not trust MicroSoft.[quote:253rgyyn]

Not offended, just made a few comments.

the only thing you tell linden labs is your name and birthdate the birthdate is for password recovery.
