I used to play that ages ago (before it was popular to do so). Spend a lot of time trading and playing (instead of playing one-on-one we used to play in groups quite a bit). Though I absolutely sucked at trading and I think I probably got worse off with every trade I made. Ah well.
Still, I should still have a complete set of all Revised cards somewhere… well, almost; it used to be complete, but I think a friend nicked all my Serra Angels.
The game was fun when there was only a limited set of cards. But now there’s so many of them and they all do such crazy things that at some point I found myself spending more time reading the opponents’ new, crazy cards just to make sure they weren’t cheating. Was fun for a while, though.

Yes, Unhinged is very funny and especially if it is combined with other series
Oh... but I believe I am getting ahead of myself. I'm Zaravir and I've just arrived here and so I wanted to thank you for your most warm welcome. It is a pleasure to finally be amongst likeminded people.

I played pretty heavily through the Ravnica set but of late havn't had many oportunities to play, which is sad because I finally have a deck thats worth a damn... well 2 damns actually. (Solarpox with 2 WOGs traded out for Damnations

) Planarchaos has proven fun thus far but it's hard to say how much longer magic will hold my interest.

I always end up playing some kind of control deck. Right now I play blue-white which is kinda stoned but very effective. Wrath of God and a lot of counterspells. It doesn't make it any less stoned that the guy I usually play against also plays blue-white control. Always ends up in some sort of counterspell-war

Braids, Conjuror Adept+ multiple Paradox Haze enchantments. Lets you put out a bunch of creatures into play for free at the beginning of your upkeeps. Both are blue. For red/black: Kaervek the Merciliess+ vampiric link: anytime an opponent plays a spell, you deal damage to any creature or player and you gain that much life.

I think that would be an interesting matchup. I'd rather die than see you play Kaervok. Guess thats where Rune snag and cancel comes in handy. And as for enchantments I sideboard a playset of Cloudchaser kestrels. They destroy enchantments as they come into play. Azorious Guildmage is nice as well. Although i havent boosted my deck enough to play tournaments. Dont have the cash to Ãnvest in all the special lands it requires. Btw Mishra's factory rocks in a control deck

I have a friend with two artifact decks, one just generalized, the other with crazy charge counters and an ethereal haze-isochron scepter. (ethereal haze: prevent all creature damage this turn- that means combat or ability damage) that combo really pisses everybody off.[/color:1s0le8nk]

I just hate Isochron-scepter. Have a friend that plays a red/green creature deck. Kird ape/elvish warrior/hunted wumpus with isochron-scepter, lightning bolt and fog ftw. Isochron and ligtning bolt... well lets just say its not funny to play against. And that goes double for isochron and fog.
