Hy all guys and gals,
I hope this is the right place to post about and you'll be able to give me the information I am looking for.
Also, I got in touch with Shir'le via icq some time ago, she might (!) remember (?) *giggles* and so I thought that coming over the boards and asking away might be the easiest way.
I'm from Italy and I have been trying for a while to find a decent server featuring a Forgotten Realms module and heavily based on interpretation, a so-called "full-rpg", but unfortunately there's nothing like this up and running in the Italian scene.

Hence my two questions:
1) Could you suggest a rpg-focused server featuring the Forgotten Realms and with good activity?
I have tried to look for one on bioware's site but I got baffled, there's too many and it's hard for me too understand when they are really, heavily rpg-focused, and you might know better than me considering your personal experiences of the various servers.
I actually haven't figured out if you Chosen of Eilistraee only play by forum or by both forum and server, therefore the second question...
2) Are you strictly a play-by-forum group, or is there a specific server you connect to and play on?
And how long will the diversion to NWN2 take, provided it is not active yet?
My pc can't support the game so it might take a while before I but it, but in the meantime I would like to try and continue playing NWN online and if this is still possible to do here wth your group that would be great!
I have always been a great Eilistraee fan, even greater after reading Liriel Baenre's trilogy by Elaine Cunningham, and never actually had the chance to play an eilistraean character (yet!).

As for the "let's meet up and play NWN online" thing it's been tried before but to no avail. Since we got people hauled in from somewhere on the edge of the world, the time can't be figured out...Half of them are a sleep at that certain time...

I'm goin o keep m answers brief (I should be heading to bed)...

At the moment we're mostly a play-by-forum group. There is some work underway for our own roleplaying server, but how fast that'll be finished greatly depends on how much help we get in building it (it is a [i:3e4cege6]lot[/i:3e4cege6] of work). It will likel be month before we have something that people ca play on, and that'll probably be fairly beta-ish.

Still we [i:3e4cege6]are[/i:3e4cege6] woring on something, but these thing take time.

As for your oher question I'm not directly aware of any decent FR servers up, things are a bit of a mess right now. And even those that are up I suspect will be in pretty much alpha-state (if that); setting up these servers takes time. Though a number of PWs have bigger and more dedicated teams than we do hey alo tend to have bigger ambitions I think.

Still, you might find a serer that'pretty good already with a good population of players on it. For mny they might be there until something better comes along; which might be that very server (as the eople building it likely won't sit sill either).

Not much help, I know. But I think that's a fairly fair asessment of the current statu of NWN2 PWs.
