Well I was telling my mum (she says hi to you all) about you guys and I realised, I don't actually know where half of you are from.
So where are you from and what do you do? I think a similar thread is around somewhere but it may have been on the old forums.
I'm from Newcastle in North East England and work in a small restaurant as a waiter/washer upper/kitchen assistant and cleaner.

By all the gods, talk like that again and I will hunt you down and.... well, tell you off.
As many of you likely know from the old forum, I'm an Australian too.
And no, I don't have one of those pathetic ocher aussie accents (In fact I have been told there is a hint of a brittish accent in my voice, likely from my mothers side even if I've never been out of Australia), I totaly LOATH that stereotype.
And continuing on Tymer's trend of posting jobs, I work for my father, assissting his small trucking buisness. Of course, I hate to think of myself as the truckie stereotype as well... (I couldn't live with myself if I ever started getting a beergut...)
Anyway, I think I have gone on quite enough...

As the Americans call them, "Shrimp".
However, in Australia, a freshwater Prawn is a Shrimp, whereas a Prawn caught in the ocean is a prawn. Shrimp are smaller, usually.

[color=darkred:cmnezzjp]Okay, I can't resist.
A russian fighter pilot crashes in Australia, and wakes up in the hospital the next day. When the nurse walks in he gasps "Did I come here to die?" The Australian nurse answers: "No, you came here yester-diay"

I'm from Nebraska, soda is pop, Kool-aid started here and on saturdays our football stadium is the third largest city in the state, Beatrice (Bee-at-ris not bea-tris... or beat-rice) to be exact although within the month I shall be gone from this soul sucking black hole of a backwater hell.
