[color=darkred:1uu30vby]Alright, for upgrading from faithful or maid to silverblade or dark lady what are we going to do the first few times? The forum rules state that you need 3 sponsors and a leader to observe the roleplay, but we only have one leader and no other full members, which, correct me if I'm wrong is a requirement for being a sponsor. So how does that work? Also, what if we can't roleplay NWN or NWN2 on the internet? (my game pc is not hooked up, only the family pc and my dad's pc, niether of which I can play NWN let alone NWN2 when it comes out.[/color:1uu30vby]

That option is not avaible at this time.

There are plans in the work to do this, however it has not been implimented.

Those that gained rank on the other side were promoted by the High Priestess by other then formal right of passage. If I understand it correctly.

The one proposed scheme was three that advanced proposed a canidate for promotion. The canidate would be subject to tests. If passing the tests (never fully designed) promotion would be granted.

The concept is still being worked on from what I last recall Shir'le posting.

True. When I setup the website originally I asked a couple of people to help me out testing the website before making it live. And I gave them the rank as a reward.

Of course, I'd also like to consider them my friends, but that's a different matter.

As for the test and raising in rank... it's looking like that'll have to wait for NWN2 now. I had something for NWN1 that was nearly finished, but ran into some trouble with AI and camera positions. Not to mention that things were complicated because I wanted it working without expansion, but having both expansions myself that made it very difficult.

Luckily the ranks don't have much of a purpose yet either.

I see that this is a very old topic, but? uhm...where are things now?
I'd very much like to get myself in to the Silver Blades as I am IC/RP and OOC promoting this site =) What can I say, I'm CG at heart =P

People hear me saying things like:
"Are you joking? You haven't heard of it? What type of faithful can you possible be if you don't even know about the most prestigious of all Eilistraee sites? You gotta be a member there or no one will recognize you in the RP world as a true believer"

So uhm? How again do you move up in this world?

I suspect we will get our city or town before test is complete, as that would be best way to run test under controled area.

Which of course will not help those that can not run NWN on their box.

An option would be someking of voting aplication process.

The last option that comes to mind is become friends with the High Priestess *wink*

I'm strongly considering scrapping the idea of holding the test in NWN/NWN2 altogether (for a while at least) and just run it in IRC or such. Which is a bit of a shame (and needs some writing from my end to make up for the lack of graphics and all that), but that way people would at least be able to advance.
