You guys and girls playing still, or have you given up and are waiting for NWN 2?
I will start off. I'm playing on 2 different servers, FRC and CD, which stands for Forgotten Realms Corymr(sp?) and Corymr and the Dalelands. Both are pretty good RP servers.

I play (and DM) on Talus/Lanthar's Lair. It's in the RP section, but right now, it's sort of half RP, half action. I do give small xp rewards to people role playing when I'm on as a DM or DM/Player with my character, Rade, and try to run 'mini-events'. It's a fair enough place, the people are respectful to others, at the very least.

I don't really play NWN online (or offline) anymore. Now and again I'll hop back in, but for the most part I'm waiting for NWN2.

Son & I are still playing SP modules. Alpha/beta tesing 4 at present. NWN2 will pose a significant hardware issue; even Wyvern's Crown will probably cause "blue one's" to fly.

An account? You don't [i:32eeysn2]need[/i:32eeysn2] an 'account' to play NwN. Servers are run by the community, and are free to play on.

sigh..if only i had [i:154hs598][u:154hs598]anything[/u:154hs598][/i:154hs598] other than dial up...so for now I have to stick to playing nwn offline....

^I know the pain Nedylene.
I was playing on a server called Nordock which by far has got to be one of the best RP servers out there(needs more Eilistraeens as there are too many spider kissers). Now unfortunately I have to wait 2 months before I can play again due to lousy internet connections.
But if NWN2 comes out, I;m going to need a new computer to handle it.

Sorry, but I didn't know that, so if someone can give me a few server links, then I'll join the ranks of the moon dancers and help lower the ranks of the spider kissers, if they happen to cross my path.[/color:3kqiw7jl]

Nedylene, I played nwn on dial up for almost 3 years with few problems. But maybe your line is dodgy and prone to noise, dropouts, etc?
Qhell, the only place I know of and can reccomend is Talus[/url:1nw4hyxx]. It's not a 'hard core' server (more like 50/50 RP/Action) and, due to the low population, can be slow sometimes. DMs try to run announced events a few times a week, often with smaller ones in between. By smaller ones, I mean simple things like having NPCs chat to you, or a quicky-quest, one that takes less than an hour and usually does not involve fighting.
P.S. So far, there are two Eilistraeen Drow on the server. In fact, we are the only ones who play our drow chracters on a regular basis

Cool. My login name there is Orophin Minyatur, I have a few characters there, as well as being a DM.
Edit: In my previous post I had said you don't need an account. Well, you do. It IS free, all you need to do is provide a valid email address, along with obvious details like account name, password, etc. I'm not sure, but I think you can actually create an account directly from the game.

Grrrr....
Damn repair works! Recently I've been trying to get NWN. I use WLAN so it might be much easier then with any other thingies.
Hopeully I'll be able to find NWN in the stores, and hopefully a 650 MHz computer will be able to run it....

I just broke down and brought NWN Diamond for my laptop. I can't wait for NWN2 to come out

. I mostly have been playing on the City of Splendors Server (
http://cityofwaterdeep.no-ip.org/). Its kinda slow at times and there are a lot of quests which require party members but its a well made Persistant World.[/color:5h7e2nr1]
