Specialty priests and Divine ascension...

Curious in 2nd edition with specialty priests, and in 3rd edition with god specific prestige classes do yout hink in the case of divine ascension those should be altered and if so how?"
It oculd be a bit troublesome in some cases but is worth examining I think... if only as a intellectualy exercise...
