Hello everyone!

As the username says, you can call me Xindeita. I'm a broken hearted fan of Eilistraee and from time to time I used to come here to check out FR lore related discussions. Then I bought Ascendancy of the Last on Monday, I finished the book Wednesday.

Wednesday night was the day I died (not really XD), but I mainly got signed up for these forums now because no one I know in real life or online really reads FR books anymore and I wanted someone to talk to, especially Wednesday when I was crying XD. Then the next day I kept help but say, "those bastards" all day long.

But anyways, hello and well met! I try to be pleasant and helpful, but not really a.... uhh... Whatever-that-game-is-called player.

Welcome to our mostly friendly group.

There are a few spider kissers that join us from time to time.

The Lore is always interesting, however Ed Greenwood always stated it was a guide that the DM could always change, *Smiles*


My current interpertation of "Ascendancy of the Last" (may that book be cursed as most read it) is that Lolth is the one that lost the game *wink*. Just that mere motals can not can not always correctly report the activiries of the Deities.

IAE Eilistraee lives and continues to collect followers.

We know how you feel, truly. I thought I felt rotten after reading the last War of the Spider Queen book, but this takes the cake.

Anyway, because of it we're officially abandoning official lore (and all WotC products with it) and instead will keep Eilistraee alive as we know her, as she is.

So welcome again and may you find a home of sorts here.

Lolth did seem to lose the game it seemed, but she still has a whole other one to play against a very special friend. Eilistraee leaving was horrid, but it came at the cost of something we all know to be liking to a goddess like her. Plus, Lolth's reactions to everything was fairly priceless.

I heard you guys plan on disregarding 4E. I remember reading one of your threads about it. I don't mind that at all. Since I'm not really a player of NWN 1 or 2 it doesn't change a whole lot except these forums stay, hehe, and if I want to forum RP then that'd be nice too.

Great! Take a read of the Ascendency of the Last thread and the Massive Global Campaign thread. You'll no what to do.
