greetings to all i have just rectly returnd from the libary and after checking out a couple of books *cough* (37) *cough* i happen to have found one book of prticler intrest. you see this book holds every event that has happend in the FR universe in cronological order from the earlyist recorded history all the way up to the begining of the spellplauge. the point im trying to make is when i was reading it i came across some info that could posible end one of our greasist debates did lolth cause the fall of the liythiir or did they turn lolth evil. basesd on new eveadence the anser is lolth fell first in c. -30000 DR and the only later in - 10000 DR are the liythiir turnd in to drow by corellons magic as dircited by his priests & high mages its only later after the drow have fled to the underdark do they start worrshiping lolth in large numbers. if you have any qustions feel free to ask me because when i say this book has every thing i mean it has EVERTHING!!!

First: was that default or FR?
Second: Thalon. You are a mystery to me. You live in Florida, you read a lot of books (I don't know anyone who buys 37 at once) and yet... your typing causes pain to my eyes. ^^

I'm guessing that Thalon is talking about [url=
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grand-History-R ... 1:ltpdwywu]Grand History of the Realms[/url:ltpdwywu] (which I personally don't have); three guesses who's on the cover... and if you don't get it in your second try at least even without having looked at the cover you really don't know the Realms at all.
It's been known for quite a while that Lolth fell long before the drow did. It's also been known for a long while that Lolth isn't actually the first evil deity the Ilythiiri worshipped; they first worshiped Ghaunadaur and Vhaeraun. At the time Lolth was establishing her powerbase in the Demonweb Pits (and becoming a goddess again) before she returned and took over.
Though it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Ilythiiri worshiped Araushnee (Lolth before she fell) before she fell; before she revealed herself as evil. And it could be said that Lolth is still at the root of the Ilythiiri's fall, having planted the seeds of evil that took many thousands of years to blossom.
After all, gods work on quite a different timescale than mortals.
Love -x-x-x-

I understand. I hope you didn't feel offended by my question? That was not what I meant.

Thalon, though I sympathize with you, on your problems and have personally tried my best to help a student with the same problems and is a good friend;
1. I am not your friend.
2. I will not read your posts...I like my eyes.

The technical name is dysgraphia and you're not alone among the followers of Eilistraee *points to himself* I would however recommend looking into using Mozilla's Firefox web browser as it has an auto spell checker which has not only made my posts/e-mail/etc more presentable but has over time actually improved my spelling.
Oddly enough dysgraphics tend to read at a higher than normal level (I could read Shakespeare before most of my classmates knew all of the words in a Goosebumps novel) although the speed at which we read is often (roughly half) notably lower.

Argoth, when not drunk usually gives a good enough idea about what the discussion is and what you said...
No checkmate.

First allow me to express my shock that such a book exists, second I feel a little out of the loop but there was a "chicken or the egg" style debate between Lolth and the drow?
Thalon have you considered acquiring a talk-n-type program? I have a friend who's terrible at spelling and he got one to help because he has to write a lot of essays and it's easier not to have to go over his entire essay when spellcheck runs. Doesn't help with handwriting but if you are in a position where you a required to do a lot of typing it may save you time.
