To those gamers

To those who play games, such as for the wii, want the wii but don't like the plain stark white color. There has been a firestorm of news this week about the Black Wii reaching American shores in may. Game Stop is not happy about this information leak, as there are posters about the black wii circulating all over the net. Nintendo refuses to comment on rumors and speculation, however Game Stop has made a comment that employees are to say the same. Even though this is all over the net.

The downside, it's just a wii all nice and black and not a new wii HD or something special like that.
The upside, it's shiny black, looks pretty and has some nice new controllers bundled with it. All this long before Black Friday in November. The speculated date is May 9, though I am wagering more towards May 11. Only a couple weeks to go until we find out.

This news is the perfect time because E3 is in June, we are at the beginning of the new year for companies (fiscal year) so all things are coming out now.

I have never understood why anyone would buy a new console just because it's a different colour.

Because they have enough of them to spend on whatever they wish. People, unfortunately, tend to spend money instead of saving them. It's a completely different thing when you simply don't have anything left to save, but a vast majority of people here in Poland, specially from the middle class, eat their way through their salaries not thinking of saving at least some of it for the not so certain future, specially when the entire pension system is about to collapse in a matter of years, could be a dozen, could be two decades, could be sooner, but it will crumble. Eh.... Enough...
