I don't know where Zareari is. I haven't heard from her since last year. I'm worried sick, and she's somewhere in Siberia...
I have a bad feeling about everything and yesterday I felt sharp pains in my chest.
Her silver-tongue won't get her out of whatever she's in right now...
Not going good...

Though...

My family's roots go back to the days of the old Norse folk...back to when honor and dignity meant something...
When I speak my peers of this I get looked at as if I'm crazy...they go pale and quickly leave, even laugh at my face...

Where'd the honor and dignity go?
Where'd it dissapear to?
What happened to it?

To keep your word, be normal, act normal, respect others...it's all gone.
Now you can't get into a club if your over 100 lb., you're crazy if you care about your family, you're worthless if you can't do 50 things at once, and shunned by all if your not on a slimming diet 24/7...

Gods...

What happened to us? WHere'd it all go wrong? Christianity? Hitler? Jews? Afroamericans? Americans? Norse? Russians, Croats, Iraqi, Saddam Hussein? Who the Hells do we blame?

To be normal, I have to act/be/become a slut , lose 100 lb, shrink myself and loose IQ points...

I miss the old days so much. That's the only good thing about the Christian faith; You had to have your dignity or else you'd be killed. If I could I'd bring it back...at least that way the animal population would grow again...

Wow. I definitely didn't expect this thread to be as gloomy as the title suggested. Hopefully things get better before they get worse.

EDIT 1:Narsia, I'm sorry to hear about you parting ways with your sister. I don't believe thats fair for your sister's lover to even bring up parting ways as a joke. Who does he think he is anyway? Sometimes the woman has to plant her feet firmly on the ground learn to say No to certain things. This should be one of them. No man or stranger should have the power to castrate them from their family members.

EDIT 2:Sorry Narsia, I have a strong conviction against people who do such things and I don't even know you. Its just something that bothered me. I hope you don't take it as an offense because it wasn't.

Though I'm not certain the hugs thread quite qualifies as a "happy and shining" thread; more like a "the everlasting horror and pain of people assaulting each other with generally, but not always, well-intentioned hugging".
