Could Eilistraee's Teachings Be the Key to Uniting the Drow and Surface Elves?**.
What if the teachings of Eilistraee, with their emphasis on harmony, art, and redemption, were used as a bridge to heal the centuries-old rift between the Drow and surface elves? Could this lead to a new era of cooperation, or would it spark even deeper conflicts within both societies?

Well the teachings at best will give some people a chance to wait before killing.
There is no message that will change entire societies into peaceful one by it self. The Drow society and culture what have to change to be more acceptable to surface including giving up the belief they are better than other elves, humans , etc.
The surface would have to adjust to the Drow should they become less violent as well, to not kill or flee on sight

That's one of the goals. Thing is, a lot of surface elves like to blame all their problems on the drow (and a lot of drow blame it on the surfacers)--they believe that if the drow hadn't done what they did in the crown wars, everyonbe would be happy now. There's a problem with that: one giant part of elven history is hidden/fabricated: there was a whole drow nation back in the crown wars that was aligned with Eilistraee and not the evil gods of the Dark Seldarine. The Crown Wars, aka the downfall of the whole elven race, begun when the gold elves of Aryvandaar attempted to Conquer that Eilistraee-aligned nation. At some point, they even magic-nuked that nation into oblivion, almost destropying Eilistraee's influence and follower base, and leaving the drow prey to the rest of the Dark Seldarine. The, when Corellon cursed the drow and exiled them, he basically gave them off to Lolth.
For a lot of surface elves, helping Eilistraee means rewriting their worldview and reco0gnizing that their actions in the Crown Wars are as bad as the drow's. As you can imagine, this is a big no no for a lot of them.
