Here is a site by an artists going by the name of Dragonsnail, but you probably already worked that out from the topic title, eh? Anyway, most of the work seems to involve Everquest/EQ2 characters, though there's others from different games, and even non gaming images. The artwork is very good.

Ooh, some very nice images in there. Though the dark elves just look... sickly with that odd EQ blue skin. Despite that I think this is my favorite so far:
