im from a [i:3egya545]really [/i:3egya545]rual area, so city is...whats the word?
and we're broke, my husband just got a job and with both us in school cant do anything really. and not any friends really yet.
but back home, i used to go out walking thru the woods, jump in the lakes/swamp/ponds- not a good idea always in FL...but never gotten eaten, or do stuff like play paintball, go hunting, or just general mischief. ))

Ah. Yeah, that's the sort of area I'm in now, but without the swamps. I'm from a big town near Dallas, originally, so this is like hicksville to me. I've spent a lot of time camping and stuff with my folks when I was younger though, so I used to do a lot of those same things. But they live on fifty acres surrounded by cattle pastures, oil and gas rigs, and some open land, but most of it is owned by others so roaming outside their fifty is not really an option unless I want to get shot by some redneck. In other words- very boring...

It's both, actually. Mixed pasture and woodland, with a lot of open land and drainage ravines tossed in. Not really farmland, due to the heavy clay soil. When it rains here, it tends to turn to thick, red mud. And my parents have a few cows themselves, but I'm not ABOUT to go tipping them!! I've been chased by a bull before, and it wasn't fun.

Actually, I think it's a bit over-rated. I've heard that it can literally scare them to death, because they are basically falling over from a sound sleep, and it can cause a shock to the heart. I just can't see myself being mean enough to do that to an animal....

i heard it could crush lungs, but not scare to death. tho animals go into shock real easy, so it makes since.
