Anime thread

Post by Talwyn Aureliano »

Since Anime is a popular topic, it desreves its own thread.

I'll kick off with a clip from the GREATEST anime film of all time...

Well, speaking of masterpieces of the genre one can't miss Hayao Miyazaki and the Ghibli Studio. They made 17 movies, among which you can find classics like:

Spirited Away (2000):

And this one had one of the best opening themes I've seen.

There's more to come.

I have only one post for this thread, for only one anime merits my squee above all others.

Yoko Kanno. :)

Who also composed the music for, among others, the following:

And while I'm busy listing anime, here's one of my other favorites (the music not by Yoko Kanno though that I'm aware):

Never fails to make me feel good.

Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and Ah my Goddess were about to appear in my next big post. :) You made my day, Priestess.

As I've said earlier, I'm posting Escaflowne on my own account. This is the german opening, which I find very nice too. That's one of the really few electro songs I like, and I like this one (People by Dax Raiders) because of Escaflowne.
