This video was in my Youtube suggestions today. The animation was just beautiful, and I personally found the short story to be very moving, so I wanted to share it with you. My only pet peeve is that IMO they could have used more than just a single song to cover the video.

Ah yes, I've seen that a while back. It's quite beautiful. And apparently courted some controversy because some anime purists felt that it wasn't allowed to call itself anime since non-Japanese people were involved in the creation of it or something like that. Doesn't take away from the beauty of the video though.

That's stupid IMO. It's not like anime is a brand, it's an animation style. If someone can pull it off, then it remains anime wether that someone is Japanese or not

Also, in the end, as you said, who cares how it's labeled? It's a beautiful animation nonetheless.
