If programming languages were religions

Post by Spider »

This popped up during my daily read of Slashdot and it got some chuckles out of me. I figure most of us here would have open enough minds to take this in. Bonus points if you ARE a programmer!

Well yes, however not enough feedback provided. Not sure what association could be made, considering the list already used.

Oh there was a follow up http://www.aegisub.net/2008/12/if-progr ... ns_20.html

Which in part says [quote:27f2xh9h]There were many complaints about "missing" languages, or "stereotyping". The list was never meant to be exhaustive, nor was it meant to be perfectly accurate - it's meant to be a JOKE. It's SATIRE. I KNOW that Satanism isn't really about selling souls, and that some of the matches aren't perfect. Also, the reason why languages such as Pascal, Fortran and Smalltalk didn't make it to the list was because I couldn't think of anything funny to say about them. [/quote:27f2xh9h]

I'd be an atheist. All I can do is decipher 1337.
